About Jacobs Mount Caravan and Camping Park
This family run park is a handy couple of miles from the centre of Scarborough and not much further from the coast. Ideal for nature lovers, it edges the Forge Valley Woods National Nature Reserve. Pitches are in peaceful, sheltered surroundings, with a selection of great all weather touring pitches which are fully serviced. You might find you like it so much you go for a seasonal pitch, and stick around! Or is a pod just what you need for a cosy stay? It's a hassle free option, ready for you to arrive. Pods include an insulated interior and the option to use electric, lighting and heating. Sorry dogs cannot stay in the glamping units.
Open from 8 March to 31 October
Site facilities include a heated shower (token operated) and toilet block with disabled and baby changing facilities. There is a licensed clubhouse and restaurant (open limited hours in low season) and a shop. Guests have access to a family room, play areas and two launderettes.

Things to do on site and in the Scarborough area
You can't beat Scarborough for a retro day by the English seaside, so grab an ice cream and see if the kids would like a donkey ride. From the amusements to the lovely beach, you'll never be bored.
If you ever fancy a break from the beach, it's off to play a round of golf on two top notch courses or spend a lazy day fishing nearby.
