About the site

A family friendly glamping site that provides a much needed escape, surrounded by nature and with plenty of walks and trails nearby including the National Bike Route, just one mile away. Just 15 minutes from Fraisthorpe Beach, it is an ideal spot for days out by the sea. There are a total of six glamping pods to choose between, three which welcome dogs and all with the luxury of their own hot tub! All of the pods enjoy the same cosy furnishings, each sleeping a maximum of four people in a double bed and double sofa bed. Inside you'll have your own well equipped kitchenette space complete with a hob, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and all crockery, as well as a dining table and chairs. The wall mounted TV is in the perfect spot for watching from either your bed or the sofa, great for cosy nights in. Each pod also enjoys its own ensuite, which although compact, are finished to a high standard, with walk-in showers, toilets and washbasins with overhead lit mirrors too. Outside of your pod you will also have your own patio with a picnic bench for al fresco dining and a fire bowl and BBQ grill for cooking up some tasty meals. Firewood can be purchased onsite.

Each pod has its own ensuite, kitchen facilities, fire pit, and electric hot tub. Guests will also have access to a games room with a ping pong and pool table.

For picking up the essentials, there is a Londis a ten minute drive away. If you are looking for a drink or something to eat, The Cross Keys and Blue Bell Inn are a ten minute drive away.

We only stayed for one night but it was absolutely lovely - the hot tub was warm on arrival and the owners even added an extra touch of a birthday banner and some balloons, as I told them that's why we were staying. The location was perfect, with a couple of pubs a short drive away that did excellent pies :) The site was very clean and well-looked after. The chickens roaming around were an added bonus! The games room could do with updating, but serves its purpose for added entertainment for the kids. My only recommendations (and I'm being very picky as not a lot to fault here at all!) is that the pods can get quite warm in the summer so plan accordingly, and note your hot tub will face directly onto the central field where children are frequently playing - this wasn't an issue for us at all but one to note if you are looking for more privacy!

For animal lovers, a visit to Bridlington Animal Park (15 minutes) is a must. Book yourself on a special owl or meerkat experience, or simply wander around and see the zebras, armadillos, donkeys, skunks, porcupines and many more friendly creatures!

If you are wanting to learn about some local history, Sewerby Hall and Gardens are just a 25 minute drive away. Sitting high on a clifftop, the stunning house is set in over 50 acres of parkland with rooms decorated in furniture from the Victoria and Albert Museum, and an onsite zoo and adventure playground for kids.
