High Lea Farm is a family-run working milk farm. Being in such a wonderful, rural location we decided to open up one of our fields and turn it into a camp site.

The site has access to the main road, but is nice and quiet with amazing views over the small countryside town of Penistone.

There are 25 grass pitches suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes, with a number of electric hook-ups available.

The site is open from mid April to mid September, though dates are flexible according to the ground conditions.

There is plenty to do around the area, especially for walkers and cyclists. Walking trails vary from flat and gentle strolls to challenging hill climbs, with routes including the Penistone Boundary walk, Barnsley Boundary walk, Kirklees Way and Pennine Way.

There are a number of reservoirs close by too, with a five reservoir challenge taking in the most fantastic scenery and wildlife.
