The views from this site are the best we have ever had from our van. Access to walking routes are perfect. One of the best stays we have had to date, still buzzing.

An enjoyable stay. The hosts were friendly and gave good advice about activities in the area. They were respectful of your space and provided a well cared for environment. We had a lovely time and will definitely return to Bay Ness Farm in the future.

Campsite is a beautiful location, very friendly and helpful owners. Pitches are amazing, great views, well secluded, clean and adventurous. Location to Robin Hood's Bay is a 25 min walk though beautiful landscapes. Toilet and shower facilities are well built, spotlessly clean and well maintained. We will definitely come back.

Fantastic location overlooking the sea. The owners warned us of some predicted winds and told us the best shelter area. Toilet block and showers were very clean. 20 mins from Robin Hoods bay.. would definitely stay here again!

Following a short drive down a single track road to the farm, we entered the arrival area and walked to farm directed by signs. And were greeted by the owner who was very helpful and walked us into the electric hook up area and were given a choice of pitches. We chose the pitch closest to the edge which unfortunately was a fair distance to the electric point. I explained I didn't think my 10m lead would reach the distance but the owner told me he would be happy to lend me a 30m lead until the end of our stay. He showed us all the amenities which were close to our pitch. The shower/wet rooms were very modern and clean as were the toilets/washrooms. We ventured out to Robin Hoods bay where there were plenty of pubs and eateries and amazing views of the coast line. The walk took 20 mins going down and 35 mins walking back up a steep climb but doable by adults with small children. All in all it was a lovely peaceful site to stay with breath-taking views. And the owner was very nice and accommodating. Would recommend 👍🏼

Great campsite, fantastic views and facilities. Definitely recommend, but be ready for the wind if you have an awning ;-) About 20 mins walk into Robin Hood's Bay. Dog friendly.

Once on site one appreciates the nice big pitches terraced with wide sea views, tranquil atmosphere and smart clean wash rooms. NB access road to the site comes up suddenly and doesn't have a campsite symbol. Important to follow the directions! 30 mins walk down to the town, and just off the coast path so one can leave the vehicle on the pitch.

Follow the directions given and you can't go wrong. It seems like you are going to the end of the cliffs but don't worry, the view from the campsite is worth it! We were greeted by the site owner who showed us where to put our motorhome and where all the facilities were. She also gave us some ideas of where to go for visits. There is a bus stop at the end of the farm track if you don't want to take the van with you, plus lots of walks (be aware that it is very hilly, especially on the way back from anywhere!). There was lots of space when we were there and the views were spectacular, over the edge of the cliff down to the sea and Robin Hood's Bay in the distance. The dogs loved having the space around when we walked them but keep the dogs on leads as there are sheep and cows on the adjoining fields. Facilities were immaculate, with separate toilets and wet rooms which contained a shower, basin and toilet. Pot washing facilities, water filling and toilet water dump. Would certainly come back if in the area.

Loved our stay! Perfect mix of remote enough so it wasn't too busy and close enough to lots of places to see and explore. Being on a cliff edge meant the view was incredible, but it did get quite cold (then again, it was April). Lovely facilities, cleaned regularly, nice and spacious and warm showers. Would definitely love to visit again!

Off the beaten track, with beautiful views across the bay. Conveniently located next to the cinder cycle path, which was great for going to Whitby or Ravenscar. Felt like we had privacy, as the site is set up with little areas that aren’t all on top of each other or overlooking each other. Beautiful place and can’t wait to go back.

What a fab place. We stayed here a couple of nights in our motorhome with our 2 dogs. Firstly the views were awesome, wherever you stood looked out over Robin Hood Bay. We walked so many places, no need to drive anywhere. I loved all the messages around the site and the owner was really friendly and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend Bay Ness farm.
