Land's End (or Penn-an-Wlas in Cornish) is the most westerly point of the English mainland, just to the south west of Penzance in Cornwall. Cornwall has more than its fair share of spectacular cliff-top views, but a visit to Land's End is more than just the obligatory photo-op next to the famous signpost. For the adventurous, it's a rock climbing opportunity or the start of an 838 mile trip to John o' Groats in Scotland - LEJOG. Entry is free, but you will need to pay for parking.
