About the site

Parkers Farm Holiday Park is a well-established site, owned by Colin and Sam Parker. The site offer a variety of accommodation to meet all your needs including 17 static caravans and 100 touring pitches. They pride themselves on being a family-run site with the help of their three daughters. The site is ideally situated in the beautiful Devon countryside with exceptional views of Dartmoor National Park. You can make the short journey to the moor to enjoy the superb walks and wildlife that roam naturally amongst the area of outstanding beauty. With the A38 close by, you will have easy access to all the local attractions that the South West has to offer. If you are looking for an opportunity to get up close and personal with animals, then this is the holiday park for you. The large diverse family of animals love attention, to be fed on the farm walk and a wave when you tour the site on a tractor ride.

Site facilities include a shower and toilet block, family shower rooms, a disabled room, washing up area, a laundry room with ironing facilities and an information room. There is also a shop and Sully's box serving teas, coffees and delicious breakfast baps, a bar and restaurant where dogs are welcome, six acres of dog walking and free WiFi.

Things to do on site and in the Ashburton area

The site has a variety of animals waiting to meet you! Douglas and Jimmy, the friendly donkeys are a common favourite. They love to be stroked and are always happy to pose for a photo!

When you visit Parkers Farm you can join in on the regular farm walks and tractor rides around the site (main season only). During the farm walk, you will have the opportunity to hold different animals in the pet's corner and feed the animals around the campsite.

The farm walk ends with an exciting tractor ride. You can climb into the trailer, relax on the benches and enjoy a thrilling ride around the beautiful site. It is great fun for all the family!

There are also outdoor play areas, a football pitch and games room.

Each year the site holds a Halloween party in the bar and restaurant. It is the highlight of many children's holiday, where they dress up in their favourite costumes and join in with Halloween parade! Prizes are awarded to the best dressed and the children have the opportunity to go through a Halloween maze!

During the main season, the site offers entertainment every evening in the bar and restaurant. Entertainment includes quiz nights, bingo, singers and a child's entertainer.
