About Ninham Country Holidays
Set on 12 acres, with mature trees and hedges dividing the different areas, the site enjoys a picturesque parkland feel. Being on the stunning Isle of Wight Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and only a five minute drive from Sandown Beach, it's also a great spot to get out and explore by foot or bike. The site offers well maintained grass camping and touring pitches, all generously spaced and thoughtfully laid out. Tent campers have a whole range to choose from, all the way from backpacker 8m x 8m pitches, to extra large pitches measuring 12m x 15m. Backpacker pitches can allow a maximum of four guests, with regular pitches allowing six and extra large pitches allowing eight. There is also a range of electric grass tent pitches on offer which come with the convenience of a 10 amp electric hook up. Tourers are also catered for with 18 electric grass pitches, measuring 10m x 10m. There are also a further nine serviced pitches which come with the addition of a water supply and grey waste drain, all allowing up to six guests. For larger motorhomes (over 6.5m in length), there are four electric grass pitches. These span a large 12m x 15m grass area with plenty of space for an awning or sunshade, allowing up to eight guests Enjoy a traditional evening in the open, with BBQs welcome. Please note, campfires are not allowed, sorry. Sorry, dogs are not permitted during the summer school holidays.

There are nine showers, nine toilets, three private wash cubicles, five vanity basins and five washing-up sinks per gender. There is also a larger cubicle for families that includes low level shower heads, a baby changing table and nappy disposal, along with a disabled bathroom.
Onsite, there is a heated outside swimming pool (opens May Spring Bank holiday and closes early September), plus a TV room and a games room with pool tables, table football and space hockey, along with a table tennis room. You'll also find an outdoor play area with a table tennis table, swings, a slide with a seesaw and nets for guests to play badminton or volleyball.
Within a ten minute walk, there is a Morrisons, an Aldi and the Merrie Gardens pub. The safe sandy beaches of Shanklin are just a five minute drive away or an easy 15-20 minute cycle.

What a gem of a campsite. Shower blocks and toilets amazingly clean and modern for a campsite. Great location, with easy access to bridle paths and a supermarket a short drive. Pitches well spaced for privacy and helpful welcome pack. Couldn’t recommend more.

Such an amazing campsite, staff are lovely, facilities are excellent, everything is spotless and there's so much for kids to do. Clean, quiet, friendly and an absolutely stunning location. Will definitely be back again.

Excellent stay for X large tent, family of 5. Excellent clean shower and toilet block. Excellent well kept grounds. Excellent friendly service and electric hook up. Excellent wooden play areas for youngest kids. Excellent clean swim pool available at 9am each day. Well recommended, we will be back!

Park rules - for your enjoyment and safety:
As the park is our home, we ask all guests to respect our site rules.
Please note recycling is obligatory for all guests, littering is not tolerated and we promote the manta 'leave nothing but footprints' t.
* No excessive noise between 9 pm and 9 am. Please show consideration for your neighbours and other guests.
* Please observe speed limits. Licensed and insured drivers only. Cars not to be used for internal transport within the park.
* No ball games on the camping area. No Kite flying as we are in a fly zone.
* Please accompany young children within amenity buildings.
* Do not leave rubbish bags outside as birds and wildlife will break them.
* Barbecues must be raised off the grass to avoid scorching. No open fires or fire pits.
Things to do on site and in the Shanklin area
If it's an outdoor activity holiday you're looking for then the Isle of Wight is the place to be. There are 165 miles of bridleways, 500 miles of footpaths and a 62 mile cycle network that allows the island to cater for all levels of riding, walking and biking.
If you love wildlife, you'll also love this site. It's likely you will see buzzards, woodpeckers, wild geese, ducks, red squirrels, badgers, owls and bats during your stay!
If you are not busy taking a dip in the onsite swimming pool, then head to nearby Sandown Beach (5 minutes). Grab a fish and chips, explore the pier or hire a paddleboard and learn a new skill.
