Peaceful, adult only park in a 100 acre valley with access to woodland walks

About the site

Close to both coast and town, this adult-only park enjoys a peaceful location and is open all year round. Surrounded by woodland, birdsong, and the gentle noise of the stream are often the only things you'll hear here. Set five minutes from Cornwall National Landscape, the site is all about peace, quiet, and unspoiled surroundings and has been recognised with the prestigious Gold David Bellamy Award for conservation for many years. There are electric grass pitches, measuring approximately 7m by 7m for tents, roof tents, trailer tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes. These pitches have 16 amp electric hook up and are mainly on flat ground with some slight sloping in places, making for good drainage in wet conditions. Those with roof tents, trailer tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes can choose between premium or premium plus hardstanding pitches. All hardstanding pitches include 16 amp electric, water, a TV point and access to grey-water disposal, either on the pitch or nearby. Premium Plus pitches also have a grassy area adjacent to the hardstanding section, plus private hedging. Dogs are welcome, with their own exercise field and plenty of woodland walks nearby. Please note that they should never be left in a unit unattended for any length of time.

Cosawes Park is open all year round. Pitches from £30/night for 2 people.

What's nearby

The South West coast is in easy reach of the site, with plenty of Cornish gems to explore such as the region's famous Eden Project, and breathtaking scenery to see at St Michael's Mount and Land's End.Nestled between Falmouth and Truro, you'll also enjoy easy access to Cornwall's delightful market towns, with a number of public footpaths ideal for long treks. Don't miss a trip to Pendennis Castle for the stunning views over Falmouth.Enjoy family fun at Lappa Valley with steam train rides, adventure golf and indoor soft play.

A note from the site themselves...

Although the tin mine has long been abandoned, markings in the woods still show where a 14th Century Chapel linked to a Manor House once stood. In April 1949, the Fraser family purchased the land, and it has been family-owned since.

It was first developed into a campsite in the 1960s, and since then, it has undergone many upgrades and changes, but it has managed to never lose its rural Cornish charm.

We are very aware of the importance of an environmentally friendly approach. We strive to be as eco and green as we can. Over the years, we have installed rainwater flushing systems for the toilets, and a heat-pump system for the facilities block, and we only use environmentally safe cleaning products.

We have held a prestigious Gold David Bellamy Award for our conservation efforts since 2012!

As well as being a beautiful place to visit, Cosawes is also a beautiful place to work. We have a small but dedicated team of staff, most of whom are long-standing staff members and all of whom have a genuine affection for the site.

We all take great pride in maintaining the grounds and surrounding area and ensuring that all guests have a great experience while they are with us. Our outstanding customer reviews and regular repeat campers reflect this enthusiasm and diligence!

We can't wait to see you soon.
