A note from the site themselves...
Here at Highlands End, we have been a part of the David Bellamy Conservation Awards Scheme since before 2000. We have consistently achieved the gold award for over 20 consecutive years now! This award recognises the work our park does to protect and enhance the natural environment.
The park has also won a Honey Bee Friendly Award and habitat badges for the work we do with Wildflowers, Hedgerows and Woodlands. As of 2022, the traditional award scheme has been replaced by the David Bellamy Blooming Marvellous Pledge For Nature, which we have joined. The scheme consists of a series of challenges all helping to protect our wonderful environment!
