About Trevena Cross Camping
This base is well placed for exploring south west Cornwall and the South West Coast Path. The site is a two minute walk from a main bus route and an ideal location for car travel as the A394 connects to Penzance and the A30 west and Helston onto Truro and Falmouth to the east.
The site is a spacious, relaxed campground where you can choose your plot and just pitch up. There are ten spaces for tents and trailer tents, each without electric.
If glamping is more your style, both a furnished and unfurnished bell tent are available. Each 6m tent sleeps up to four, with the furnished bell coming with a double and two single beds too.
Children are welcome and have a dedicated vehicle free play area complete with a toy box.
Dogs can also join you for your stay, with up to two permitted per pitch.
Be sure to bring along the BBQ, just ensure it is raised from the ground and an adult is presence when in use. Ground fires are not permitted.
Trevena Cross Camping is open from 05/07 to 15/07 and 18/07 to 29/08.
Facilities and amenities
Site facilities include portable loos, showers, cold drinking water, a covered washing up station, washing line, battery pack charging and freezer pack re-freezing. There is also a small 'essentials' shop for emergency supplies (think marshmallows, baked beans, batteries).
In the village of Breage you'll find a small convenience store and post office, a recreational ground (no dogs) and the Queens Arms pub serving good food in the evenings. Slightly further afield you'll find many eateries and sight seeing around Porthleven. Pet walking is allowed in the gardens of the garden centre and Ashton village has a larger recreational ground to suit a jaunt with the dog.

A note from the site themselves...
Trevena's seven acres have been in our family for generations, farmed by our great great grandparents through to the present day. Pigs and cows used to graze here but today we keep it in meadow and cut for hay annually (just before you arrive).
The whole family get involved in helping out on site and we really enjoy welcoming people to our home. We're passionate about keeping it simple. The best camping experiences (in our minds!) is when its just you and nature.
We're constantly improving but will never be a big commercial site with streams of electrical devices, fancy entertainment rooms or swimming pools, and that's the way we like it!
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2023
Quiet place, easy to reach and in a very good location. The facilities are simple but sufficient and clean. There's even a basket with several games and goodies to eat in case you need some.
Lovely campsite

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2023
Lovely campsite, Portaloos and wash basin tidy and clean, not much more you could ask for really with camping. A lovely little touch was having a snack basket which you make a donation for the items, I thought that was lovely :)
The only reason I gave a 4 stars for location as I think a bigger bolder sign is needed to advise it's the campsite, as we drove past it a few times before realizing it was where we needed to go, ha!
Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
Great for short term

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesJul 2023
Price adequate to the conditions. The toilets were clean but only one shower! Great for short term. We went with 5 people but we were unlucky because we had nonstop rain so the problem was where to wash and dry clothes. If you're going with kids there might be better places.
