About the site

First established over 50 years ago, Balnoon is no stranger to campers. This is the ideal base for lazing on beautiful Cornish beaches, with St Ives and Carbis Bay just two miles away. Enjoy back-to-basics camping on level grass pitches in your tent or tourer for a traditional, no frills camping experience. Your four legged friends are welcome to join you too but must be kept on a short lead at all times.

Dogs allowed but must be kept on leads and not left unattended.

No loud music after 11pm.

BBQ's must be off the grass.

Things to do on site and in the St Ives area

It won't take you long to soak up some sun by the coast here. Just two miles away, St Ives is within easy reach either by a short drive or a countryside walk. Carbis Bay is also nearby.

Take a trip to the Isle of Scilly from Penzance or, off shore, head to Cornwall's famous St Michael's Mount.

The Minack Theatre is also well worth a visit with a wide range of performances during the summer season. When there isn't anything on, soak up the stunning scenery surrounding this open air theatre and discover the story of Rowena Cade.

The Eden Project, arguably Cornwall's most famous attraction, is a 45 minute drive away.
