About the site
Within the park's abundant space, you'll find more than 100 pitches, which allow guests to relax, free from disturbance and facilitate the development of a 'quality-of-life' philosophy for the park.
In addition to the six-acre caravan park, 18 acres of the park is set aside for woodland. Thanks to careful conservation and stewardship, the area has an abundance of thriving natural wildlife, fauna and flora.
The site has won awards for conservation. Open areas have been created in order to encourage insects, bees and bird life as well as wildflowers. The site has also previously been ranked as one of Practical Caravan's Top 100 Sites.
There are 22 fully serviced hardstanding pitches all with electric, water and a grey waste drain. 12 are Superior fully serviced which would suit a large caravan, motorhome or 5th wheeler a bench is included with this pitch type. The other ten are standard fully serviced pitches.
The park offers a further ten large hardstanding and 36 standard hardstanding pitches, which are suitable for motorhomes, caravans or campervans. The large hardstanding pitches also have a bench included.
There are 13 large astroturf pitches suitable for motorhomes, caravans, campervans and tents and for camping with electric there are ten standard astroturf pitches, which are ideal for tents or campervans.
For pitches without an electric hook up, the park offers 15 dog friendly grass pitches, which are suitable for motorhomes, caravans, campervans or tents. If you have a tent or small campervan there is a wild camping area with around 20 unmarked spaces in a beautiful woodland glade.
If you love the idea of whiling away an evening by an open fire and making the most of the dark skies, you can rent a fire pit from the on site shop.
You are welcome to bring your own fire pit but this must be approved by a member of the team and you'll need to use the site's own briquettes which are made for safety and ecology. The park does not allow guests to burn any natural wood on site.
The wild camping area, 'Emma's Glade', is a beautiful woodland area in the SSSI next to the wildlife lakes. There's no electricity or dogs in this area. Camping pitches with electric are in 'The Warren' and 'Fir', closer to reception, while Damson is a large flat camping area surrounded by trees and adjacent to Emma's Glade and the amenity blocks.
For glampers, the site has a selection of fabulous glamping units. All are equipped with a double bed, outdoor cooking station, fire pit, outside furniture and large decked area, everything to make your stay comfortable. All you need to bring is bedding and towels.

The shepherd's huts and Yurt have a toasty wood burner and chic furnishings and the spacious yurt has a 5m diameter interior.
Dogs are not allowed in the wild camping area which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Both provide space to park your car next to your unit with the facilities being just nearby.

A note from the site themselves...
We bought the site in 2013 having sold up our home and business in London. With three teenage boys in tow, it really was the adventure of a lifetime! Nothing would ever prepare us for the stress of moving, selling a house, selling a business, buying a business and moving 3 boys into new schools knowing absolutely no one in the area and very little about the touring park industry.
We had business experience so knew the basics and everything else we did was around our instincts and creating a park that we'd want to visit and be proud of. We also listened to our customers over the years and have been receptive to advice and taken any constructive criticism.
We hope that you'll connect with what we are about and that you'll love our park as much as we do!

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches (Gravel)Jun 2025
This is a wonderful site catering for all types of campers in a relaxed park. The woodlands and lake are a bonus and our nervous dog really appreciated the hedged pitches and walks, straight off the site.
Monty's Bar, the lovely shop and visiting food trucks were excellent! We feel the directions given for walks off site should explain that you have to walk on the pavement along the busy road as we had to turn back with our pooch who is fearful of traffic. We rebooked our next stay and will return to the peace and tranquillity in a few weeks! Thanks especially to all the lovely, friendly staff.
Site's response
Hi Sandra,
Thank you for your lovely review, we're really pleased you enjoyed your stay.
Apologies if staff did not make it clear about the walk along the road. If you do come again visit our Information Hut where there are some leaflets which give clear directions for the walk.
We hope to see you again soon.

Glamping Cabin - Lodge Pods (Dog Friendly) Jun 2025
Absolutely loved this site. The lodge was spotless and the bed was comfortable.
The site is lovely with great facilities! The shower block and toilet were very nice, but the best was the bar area (which does shut around 8pm) and the visiting food vans each night.
There is also a fantastic dog walking area which is enclosed and has a large wooded area.
The whole site had a wonderful atmosphere and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. It was a superb stay.
