About the site
The site offers a great base for North Wales adventures, with scenic views and easy access to Snowdonia (10 minute drive). Set in a peaceful spot with rolling hills around, it's aimed at families and couples looking to enjoy both the coast and the mountains. There are spacious grass pitches set on sandy soil, each around 9m x 9m. These are suitable for tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes. You will have the option of non electric, or an electric pitch with a 16 amp hook up. For glamping, the site offers pods with hot tubs, sleeping up to four people. Each pod includes a double bed and a double sofa bed, along with a kitchen, bathroom, TV and living space. Outside, there is seating and a private hot tub. The coast is just five minutes away, with Black Rock Sands offering a wide, sandy beach that's great for family days out, paddling and picnics. It's even possible to drive onto the beach, making it easy to set yourself up for the day! Porthmadog is just five minutes away, with a pretty harbour, shops and places to eat, as well as the famous Ffestiniog Railway. Other great days out include Portmeirion, around 15 minutes away, and the Snowdon Mountain Railway, about 50 minutes away, for a relaxing trip up Wales' highest peak. BBQs are welcome for outdoor cooking, as long as they are raised off the ground and use gas or charcoal. Please note, open fires are not permitted. Dogs are welcome too, with up to three allowed per pitch, so guests can enjoy exploring the beaches, countryside and mountain walks with their four-legged friends.
