A note from the site themselves...
We moved from Essex to Cornwall in 2019 to begin our dream of running our own Campsite. The spring and summer are wonderful, it's just fantastic to see our site come to life with visitors from near and far! Cornwall is the most stunning county and there are so many great events to visit and new places to explore with our adult children and two labradors, there's just never enough time!

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2023
Warm welcome on arrival. Plenty of information and details provided when enquiring about local area. First small site we have stayed on and so much nicer than larger sites. The owners were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Facilities immaculately clean, nice showers. Enjoyed so much, stayed an extra night. Highly recommend, we intend to return.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2023
Having reluctantly agreed to my husband's request to camp in Cornwall for our summer holiday I was delighted to find a campsite willing to accommodate our 4 dogs.
Upon arrival, we were met by Kellie with a really useful information pack, shown to our pitch (we were given a choice of two). Tent was erected and it was almost time for the weekly visit of Kernow Pizza to cater for those wanting freshly made pizza. The Peg & Mallet bar is open 5 days a week (except Sunday & Wednesday), great value and good selection of drinks.
Showers and washing facilities are really well thought out and kept spotlessly clean. Lots of drinking water taps throughout the site. The dog pen is an excellent idea and was regularly used (with the provision that dogs are not left unaccompanied) everybody was great at 'picking up' and there were quite a few campers with two or more dogs (mostly team Labrador!).
This site is well located for the small ports and beaches on the South Coast (some real hidden gems for dog walks off the lead). We spent 2 days exploring Newquay (Fistral Beach is busy but well-organised and has parking right next to the bay). We also visited Towan Beach and the two adjoining bays. Holywell Bay was the choice find, parking in the NT car park (free for members or £4 for up to 4 hours). Newquay is approximately 20 minutes away. I don't know what Kellie & Craig have planned for improvement but I don't think there's much room to do it any better than they already do!
Well done Kellie & Craig hopefully we will get back again soon.
