Tall Trees is a peaceful, family friendly park in a semi rural area surrounded by open farmland and just a walk from cosy pubs and more. Open all year round, it's right next door to a fishing lake - ideal for anglers! With easy access to the A1 and M1 motorway, green surroundings and nearby urban attractions - it's the best of both worlds. Dog friendly.
Three sides of this park are surrounded by open farmland, so there's no shortage of green, but it's also walking distance from a town with all the urban amenities you could need. A 10 minute drive takes you to the centre of Mansfield and a bus stop is also on hand. The park's 37 secluded pitches all offer optional 10-Amp electric, and 16-Amp electric is also available, with space for motorhomes up to 50ft long to stay. For members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club, there is also a five pitch CL site. Rallies are welcome and there's also plenty of space for ball games on the field.
Open all year

You're under a mile from Mansfield's centre for a browse around the shops and a tipple, but there are also bigger spots to explore, with the Peak District in modest driving distance.
Mansfield's claim to fame is as the home town of double Olympic gold medal swimmer Rebecca Adlington and it has an excellent swimming pool to prove it, plus an indoor play centre for families.
If you're not feeling quite so virtuous, there are tasty takeaways and great pub grub too, of course.
Soak up some culture at the National Trust's Clumber Park which has close to 4000 acres of beautiful outdoor space, in Worksop. Fans of Robin Hood should get to know Sherwood Forest, where Chesterfield's Crooked Spire was once the traditional centre. There's plenty more history and culture to uncover at Hardwick Hall and Newstead Abbey, too.
Just dangling your rod in the water and feeling at one with nature is on the cards, so don't miss lazy days fishing in the sun.
