Red Squirrel Campsite is perfect for families, adventure seekers and hikers. Wild open pitches allow you to have the freedom to pick and choose your pitch, or choose from one of the onsite bell tents set up ready for you! There is a pub just a 15 minute walk from the site. Either a short drive, or woodland walk into the village are a few more restaurants and a local shop.

Experience camping in Glencoe, where you will discover Scotland's wildlife and some of the most beautiful scenery this country has to offer with breathtaking mountain views and riverside spots. You can set up base in one of over 100 non designated grass pitches or in head in amongst the woodlands. Some are even on the banks of the picturesque River Coe. They space is perfect for campervans or tents for a true camping feel. Alternatively, for anyone who doesn't want to bring their own tent, there are bell tents fondly named Squirrels Drey or Bidean. These 5m bell tents are complete with a table and four chairs, a wood-fired stove, a kettle, crockery, tea and coffee. Guests however need to bring their own beds and linen. A rural spot for those looking to explore the Highlands with plenty to do nearby including waterfalls, trails and the UK's highest peak - Ben Nevis (40 minutes). Campfires and BBQs are allowed and help to achieve that authentic camping experience. Please do not make your own fire pit and keep personal fire pits off the grass. Dogs are welcome onsite at no extra cost.

There are numerous walk near the site, and short drives open up your options for walk further a field. Hagrid's Hut is only a short two minute walk away, as is Signal Rock. The iconic Ben Nevis mountain - the highest in the UK - is just a 40 minute drive and is a must for avid explorers.
The nearest sea pier at Glencoe is a ten minute drive away for those who want to watch the waves and there is lashings of remote and beautiful Highland countryside. Grey mares tail waterfall is a lovely spot, and is reachable by car in 20 minutes
