This small and rural site is spread across acres of unspoiled natural beauty in the Somerset Levels, with an abundance of wildlife. There are twelve large grass pitches, four with electric hook-ups suitable for campers and vans. Set on a large open field, there's plenty of space for the kids and dogs to run around. Take a stroll on one of the endless walks direct from the site, explore the Quantock Hills nearby, or head to the Jurassic Coast, a 45-minute drive away. BBQs are allowed. Fire pits are provided free of charge and logs and kindling can be purchased on site.
This site is open for both May bank holidays, the May half term and 12th - 24th July.
Shared facilities include a toilet and shower block, four outdoor sinks, and firepits.
A pub is just a five-minute drive away, and Taunton town centre is only a 15-minute drive away with a range of shops and restaurants.

Toilets and shower are immaculate and flushing! Loads of sinks and recycle/rubbish points. The site has electric but we opted for a non-electric spot. Lovely stay, I'm sure we'll be back for a third time.

Good size pitches. Showers and toilets clean, modern and well maintained. Great surroundings. A very natural feel to the site with wild grass and thick hedgerows.

A shower in a horse box, and 3 loos, George Clarke would be proud. A large field with only about 20 spaces. Several water taps and washing-up stations are spread around and each 16m wide space gets a fire pit to use.

This site is located in the Somerset Levels and within easy reach of the Blackdown Hills, the Quantocks and the Mendips. Here you can walk, cycle and birdwatch in lovely Somerset, with some of the best English country surrounding you.
Just 15 minutes away, head to Taunton. Here you'll find historical monuments, cobbled streets, shops and restaurants. Pay a visit to the Museum of Somerset, or picnic beside the Leigh Reservoir.
There are plenty of things to do nearby, including:
