Oakfield Farm Campsite is a back to basics spot where you can camp around a campfire and enjoy the atmosphere of a real farm. You'll be just 10 minutes from the South Downs National Park, in easy reach of a local market town and yet getting back to nature too. Drive just 15 minutes and you're at Drusillas Park with its exciting rides and fantastic zoo.

About the site

Close to the top of the Cuckmere Valley is this spacious farm which covers 30 acres and welcomes tent campers only. The site is thoughtfully divided into two distinct areas. It's adults only in the area around the pond, which are a five minute walk from the main site and offer pitches of various sizes. For those with families, the main camping field is the spot and it welcomes campers with kids. Tent camping is around the edge of the open field and pitches are roughly 15m by 15m to fit up to two large tents. When the site is busy, extra space is also available in the horse paddock so that it never feels overcrowded. No matter where you stay, you're welcome to cook up your dinner around a campfire here. Vehicles are not allowed onto the field except to briefly load and unload, ensuring that everyone can relax and enjoy the space.

A shop is located close by and The Inn on the Park is within a mile of site. An equestrian centre is located just up the road.
