Set in a charming village, the site has all the amenities you need within a short walk, from a country pub to a farm shop selling local produce for your evenings BBQ. The site has 40 non electric grass pitches, each suitable for both tents and campervans. Each pitch comes with its own fire pit, perfect for nights of roasting marshmallows under the stars. The site also aims to allocate pitches so everyone pitches up next to like-minded campers, including having a more adult-friendly section and groups camping together. Being a back-to-basics site, the location is ideal for those looking to get out and enjoy the outdoors. Surrounded by country lanes and bridal paths, it is a great spot for keen walkers and cyclists, with the Ashdown Forest just a 20 minute drive away. The site is also dog-friendly so don't forget to bring all of the supplies for your four-legged friends!

Though the site may be tucked away in the countryside, you certainly will not be short of things to do. Surrounded by walking trails, cycling paths and with many charming country pubs within an hour's walk, you don't even need to get in the car if you don't wish to.
If you are wanting to venture a little further, a 15 minute drive will take you to the Bluebell Railway, Sheffield Park Station. Take a ride on a vintage steam train, explore the 1880's station or even enjoy an afternoon tea as you watch the locomotives pass by.
The charming town of Lewes is also just a 15 minute drive away. Here you will find cobbled streets lined with shops, cafes and pubs, along with the 16th-century Lewes Castle and Museum. Climb to the top and marvel at views over the South Downs or see the exhibits that teach you all about knights and the famous battle of Lewes.
For those warm days, a visit to Brighton (30 minutes) is a must. Spend days in the sea, sunbathing on the beach or playing in the arcade on the pier. The quirky lanes are also full of boutiques, museums and galleries for you to discover.
