About the site

Hugged by the hills of Wildboarclough along the western edge of the national park is this real family working farm. It's only 5 miles from Buxton Spa or 7.5 miles from Macclesfield and shrouded in peace and relaxation - so you can forget the hectic world outside. On this small site motorhomes, caravans and tents are all welcome to pitch up and enjoy grass pitches without electric.

Open from 1 May to 30 November.

Dogs are very welcome but must be kept under control on the site and surrounding farm land.

Walkers love the Matterhorn of Cheshire, Shutlingsloe, which is the county's third biggest challenge and Three Shires Head - both offering breathtaking views across the Peaks. The national park is all around you, and packed with limitless options for outdoorsy travellers.

Escape amongst the trees at Macclesfield Forest where you'll walk between the shady canopies, cycle or perhaps even tempt yourself with a tipple at the Forest Gin Distillery.

And all that's before you dip into urban fun in Macclesfield, with great shops, bars, cafes and restaurants.
