About the site

Relax at this peaceful adult only site, set on the outskirts of the village of Erpingham in the North Norfolk countryside, a 15 minute drive from the coast. You will be in a great kicatuib for exploring top sandy beaches like Cromer Beach (15 minutes) and Mundesley Beach (20 minutes). Guests can enjoy 11 fully serviced (12m x 12m) grass pitches or 24 (13m x 13m) fully serviced hardstanding pitches, all equipped with a 16 amp electric hook up, drinking water, a water waste disposal, WiFi, and TV points. These pitches are suitable for tents, caravans, campervans, RVs, and motorhomes and have a separate hedge divide. Please note that most pitches here are all weather, however, some aren't. Staying onsite, you will have access to site-wide WiFi, a launderette, an EV charging station, as well as the fishing lake at the sister site Deers Glade, five minutes away. If you fancy a tasty cooked meal, then head a ten minute walk down the road to the Alby Horse Shoes, Inn Artisan Bistro and Alby Tea Rooms. Days out can be spent at Norwich City, 30 minutes away, with plenty of attractions, including the Sainsbury Centre and Norwich Castle. Dogs are more than welcome, please ensure they are kept on a lead at all times. Raised fires and BBQs are allowed onsite! There are fire pits at the reception available to hire.

Onsite, guests will have access to heated facility blocks with toilets and showers, a large accessible bathroom, and an undercover washing up area. There's a launderette equipped with two washing machines, two dryers, sinks, and ironing facilities, as well as an EV charging station. You will also have access to free WiFi and an undercover chemical waste disposal with handwashing facilities.

There is an unmanned reception open (low season: 10am - 4pm, mid season: 9am - 5pm, and high season: 8.30am - 6pm) with a small honesty shop. Fire pits are also available here. You will have access to the fishing lake at Deers Glade, five minutes away.

For dining out, Artisan Bistro, Alby Tea Rooms, and the Alby Horse Shoes Inn are a ten minute walk away. Co-op Food, Tesco, and Mark's and Spencer are a ten minute drive away. For routes into Norwich City Centre, the Craft Centre bus stop is a ten minute walk away too.

Site rules and policies

*Check-in is from 2pm. Please check out by 12pm.

*Early check-in for touring and camping is available from 12 pm for an extra £10.

*Late check out for touring and camping is at 2 pm for an extra £10.

*All visitors must be booked in.

*Any visitors must leave by 11pm.

*There is a quiet policy between 11pm-7am.

*You must keep any dog on a short lead at all times. They must also be cleaned up after.

*All ball games are to be played in the play area only.

Things to do on site and in the Erpingham area

The National Trust Blickling Estate is a short ten minute drive away, where you can walk around an incredible stately home with decorated interiors, landscaped gardens, and lakes. The National Trust Felbrigg Hall Gardens and Estate is also a 15 minute drive.

The coast isn't too far either! The Norfolk Coast National Landscape is only five minute drive away, offering coastal towns like Sheringham and Cromer with top sandy beaches, some with Blue Flag status. There are plenty of scenic walks and cycle routes worth tackling too.

Head to Whitwell and Reepham Railway Station (25 minutes) to explore a collection of diesel and steam trails, carriages, and trucks. There is also a museum, cafe and garden for you to enjoy a pint in the sun.

If you fancy a city day out, then Norwich is a 30 minute drive away, where you can then stop at the Sainsbury Centre, Whitlingham Country Park, The Plantation Garden, Norwich Castle and more. Holt is a popular market town also 30 minutes away.

For hikes, walks, and cycling, tackle the Marriott's Way (10 minutes), Weaver's Way (25 minutes) or head 30 minutes to the Norfolk Broads National Park.
