About the site

This friendly, family site is set on the edge of Snowdonia (Eryri), with beautiful views of both the mountains and the sea. Just five minutes from Criccieth and the beach, it's a great spot for exploring both the countryside and coastline. There's non electric and optional 10 amp electric grass pitches, all allowing up to six people in tents, trailer tents, roof tents and campervans. For caravans and motorhomes, there are four hardstanding pitches measuring 10m x 10m with optional electric. If you want to leave the tent pegs behind, there's a cosy camping pod sleeping up to four people. It comes with a small wooden decking area outside, but guests will need to bring their own beds, bedding and camping gear (apart from the tent). There's also a children's play area and space for games, making it easy to keep little ones entertained. Just across the road, guests will find a fishery and a cafe, perfect for picking up breakfast, lunch or spending a peaceful afternoon by the water. The location is ideal for days out. Black Rock Sands is ten minutes away, and the historic Castell Cricieth is only five minutes down the road. For bigger adventures, Snowdonia's walking routes and mountain trails are all close by, with Pen y Pass around 35 minutes from the site for starting Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) climbs! Dogs are welcome on the pitches, with up to three allowed per pitch, so four-legged friends can join in the fun. Open fires are not permitted, and any BBQs must be raised off the ground and used for cooking only.

Eisteddfa Caravan and Camping Park's season normally runs from March until October. Sign up to alerts and we'll let you know when bookings re-open.
