About the site

If you're looking for a tranquil escape from the everyday, then this is the site for you. From spacious grass pitches to cosy glamping accommodation, this site has an option for everyone. What's more, as it is off-grid you can truly make the most of some time in the great outdoors. There are ten grass tent pitches available. These pitches are all spacious and without electric hookup. For those looking for a little more luxury, the site has a range of adult only glamping accommodation available. These all sleep two and include a small kitchenette with a gas hob, bedding, a log burning stove and cooking equipment. Please make sure to bring your own towels along. The Mezzanine Eco ensuite glamping pod is in a scenic waterside location and has a double bed up a flight of spiral stairs and an ensuite bathroom, and a private decking area with a fire pit / BBQ and seating. The shepherd's hut and blue horsebox all have a king-size bed, while Connie the ex-military trailer has a double bed. All of the glamping accommodation is thoughtfully decorated and offers a cosy break away for couples. Please note, the site is off-grid so there is no WiFi or mains electricity in the glamping units and the lighting inside is powered by a solar battery. The units are not connected to mains water, but a dispenser is provided. If you're looking to try something a little different, the site offers a range of foraging and cooking courses for you to enrol on, and they even sell their own fresh hens' eggs! Sorry, no dogs are allowed onsite. For those hoping to enjoy dinner al fresco, BBQs and fire pits are available to hire along with logs! You are welcome to bring your own but these must be raised off the ground as disposable BBQs are not permitted. Do note that this site is part of The Greener Camping Club, and so at least one member of the booking party for each tent/unit requires a membership - this is £12 for the year and can be bought upon booking.

Bragenham Farm is open from 05/04 to 31/10.

A note from the site themselves...

We opened the farm up to guests so they can take a break in a nature-rich setting and enjoy the views from our hill. As first-generation farmers we are always learning and are happy to talk about farming, food and soil health.

Shepherd's Hut - Meadow Shepherd's Hut (Adults Only)May 2025

Beautiful, quiet spot with very friendly and helpful owners. Even though the weather was a bit naff, the hit was absolutely brilliant. Cooked a nice one pot dinner for two and slept like a log, even with the rain!

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Campervan PitchesMay 2025

Although the field is quite hilly, we were able to park up in a level spot near the top, with a fabulous view for miles across the plain. We only briefly checked out the facilities, but didn't need to use the shower. A nice site. The glamping options look lovely too.
