About the site
Tucked away down a country lane, this simple site enjoys great views over the surrounding valleys. It is also an ideal base for exploring the North Cornwall Coastline, a five minute drive from Portreath Beach, with the popular coastal spots of St Ives and Perranporth within 25 minutes. There are a range of 10m x 7m grass pitches allowing tents, trailer tents, campervans and motorhomes. Guests can choose between optional 16 amp electric pitches, or fully serviced pitches with a gravel area, electric, water and grey waste hook up. For small tents, backpackers and those arriving by foot, there are two pitches each allowing a maximum of two guests. Campervans, caravans and motorhomes have the option of larger 10m x 7m grass pitches with a gravel area, or fully gravel pitches. Each also comes fully serviced with a 16 amp electric, water and grey waste hook up. Dogs can join you for your stay, with up to two dogs permitted per pitch. Guests are welcome to enjoy a fire pit or BBQ, just please ensure these are raised from the ground. Fire pits can be hired from the site too! There are also cattle and calves in the fields at the bottom of the meadow that can be petted.
Hillcrest Views Campsite is open on the following dates for 2026: 01/01 to 03/01, 27/03 to 02/11 and 15/12 to 31/12 and the following dates for 2027: 01/01 to 02/01 and 22/03 to 30/10. Pitches from £13/night for 2 people.
