Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Gravel Pitches Jul 2025 Fabulous stay , enjoyed every minute. The location was beautiful , great value for money and one of the best shower blocks we have come across. Great experience from start to finished . Wish we had booked a longer stay.

Camping Pod - Camping Pods (4 person, Dog Friendly) Jul 2025 Really enjoyed our family stay in one of the small pods.
Luckily brought our own blankets to bulk the seat cushions up as they were a bit thing to lie on but overall a brilliant get away at a lovely campsite for the kids and ourselves. Very welcoming upon arrival and lady at the desk explained where everything was for us.
Would definitely recommend for an evening getaway or a stop of on route to somewhere in the lakes.

Camping Pod - Camping Pods (2 person, Dog Friendly) Jun 2025 Arrived late to find the pod unlocked and ready. It was clean and warm and very, very comfy.
Lovely site in a lovely location (had fish & chips for tea by the beach). Amenities were first class and very, very clean.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Wow. 1st time visit and the kids already want me to book back. The location was great, the service was superb.
We had a few loud noisy people up until gone 1am but the staff dealt with it. A lovely clean site, very accessible and great for everyone. Will definitely book things. Even everyone staying on site was lovely.
Oh, and the ice cream was amazing. Kids were gutted they didn't get one last one on their last day when we left as it wasn't open until 10am
Food in the bar as well was delicious and portion sizes were huge.
Water sports fun was great as well.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Jun 2025 Immaculate site loads of walks all around the site for us and our German shepherd. Site shop ice cream is fantastic.
Beach bar 5 mins away do takeout and plenty of outside and inside seating. Will definitely be going back!

Excellent site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Just got back after a two night stay. The campsite was excellent, facilities were clean and kept tidy. There was a small shop on site, on site office and a small ice cream shop/coffee shop.
The site is well balanced for all types, caravans, motor homes/ camper vans and like us, those that like to be in a tent. Electric pitches are available also.
Definitely worth going back to.

Private shower cabins with a toilet inside, as well as separate toilets. Access to the washing machine/dryer and outside dog showers.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had two dogs with us and the dog was was perfect after a run on the sand! The view was lovely from our tentbox 😍

Toilets regularly cleaned - although women's toilets soap dispenser was not working and there was an older soap bar broken up for use. 1 of 3 toilets were staff only. Location good, with access to beach.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches May 2025 Stayed over a very busy bank holiday weekend. Large campsite with great facilities, although you may have to queue if you prefer a morning or evening shower. Wasn't a problem for us, we worked around it.
They had security until late who did ask some blokes to keep the noise down after 10pm. To be honest, we were more irritated by the security guard sat with his car door open, with a smokers cough and talking loudly/swearing at someone on his phone.
There is a lovely coffee snack bar with homemade ice cream. It's a well cared for and tidy site given its size. The girls in the café were lovely, as were the ladies on reception.

Trailer Tent - Electric Gravel Pitches Apr 2025 It was the perfect stay close to the beach, bars, restaurant and fish shop. With a little village only a 10 minute walk away. Would definitely go back.

Service when we arrived was brilliant by the lady in there (don't know name) facilities on site fantastic. Had a great time exploring and eating in the ski bar (and a couple of pints).

Lovely site, just not for us. VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2025 Harbour Lights was a lovely site, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The site was clean and tidy and the toilets and showers were kept really clean and well maintained. I don't have anything bad to report really about the site itself.
In terms of the location, there isn't really much to do, especially if the weather is bad. We arrived on a windy & rainy day and spent most of our time in our camper, which is absolutely fine, we do go away to relax and not do very much. However, on the 2nd day, the wind was so bad, we decided to go for a walk into Millom, to have a look around the shops and maybe stop off at a café or a pub or two. When we arrived in the town, there wasn't much open and it was Saturday afternoon. We managed to get a seat in one local eatery and then headed straight back to camp, as there was nothing else there. On the Sunday, we did go for a walk along the front but that was all there was to do.
There is a Ski Bar on a neighbouring caravan site which you can go to, but when we arrived on the first day, it was packed and not a table in sight. On the 2nd attempt, all of the tables were reserved. Nothing was happening on the water on the one nice day we had, so that was a bit of surprise too.
All in all, the site is lovely if you just want to sit outside of your tent/caravan/camper and maybe just a walk on the beach. The site is really lovely just not a place we would visit again as we like to have a few walks and then a few options for food and drinks too.

Clean, well laid out site
Motorhome - Non Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2025 Large site with plenty of space to move large motorhomes.
The toilet and shower block look relatively new and were a nice size and gave nice hot showers. I really liked how they were separated rooms which is handy when you have kids but also nice for the privacy.
It was also nice to be near the sea and the addition of the ice cream parlour definitely is a plus.
I wasn't a huge fan of the permanent residents living on site and it would be much better for young kids if there was a play park added as there is plenty of room for one.
