Excellent Campsite

This really is a first class campsite. It's small, which we liked and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The toilets and showers are without doubt the cleanest and best we have come across. There are a lot of of really nice touches, a fire pit for every pitch, a gorgeous little horse-box bar and communal area and even a walky-talky to summon the hosts to serve a drink! The location is fabulous. We didn't have the best of weather for our stay, but it was so peaceful and calm. There was lots of great thing for all tastes to do within an hour's drive. The site was very dog friendly. We will be back!

Quiet and peaceful location with lovely walks nearby

We had a lovely stay at Cosmos camping. The location was great for some picturesque walks nearby. Showers were great, facilities were spotless and everything we needed. Alex and Bob were very welcoming and incredibly helpful.

excellent campsite close to the Brecon Beacons

Excellent site nestled in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons with good clean facilities, large pitches separated by wild grass and flowers and friendly accommodating site owners. Highly recommended!

A truly lovely campsite!

We loved staying here. Alex and Bob were so friendly, the facilities are amazing and the views from the campsite are stunning. We will definitely be back to stay at Cosmos Camping in future!

Away from it all location

Very clean and well thought out site with some nice extra facilities, especially if you were in a tent. Use of fridge, microwave and kettle. Useful in wet weather. They had a horse box selling drinks in the morning and evening with a shelter to sit under if it was raining. We didn't experience the star gazing as it was cloudy when we stayed. We were in a small campervan which were catered for with 2 small pitches and the rest was for tents. The hosts, Bob and Alex, were very friendly and helpful.

Can't wait to go back

Very peaceful site looking up at the Brecon Beacons. Spotless facilities, lovely hosts. It hammered down on Saturday and we still had the best time! Between the 3 of us with two micro-campers we booked both the van pitches, which gave us plenty of room. We made good use of the trees as a canopy to eat under when the heavens opened, and spent a very relaxed night at Cosmos.

Great stay

Great stay, very friendly owners. Comfortable, well priced and great amenities. Booked the day before, that was no problem. Had a great one night stay at Cosmos Camping. We were the only people there but owners were very friendly and welcoming, even with us being a little late. Camp is very wholesome and great for dark skies camping (when there isn't any clouds!) Love and care put into the site is obvious. The quality of utilities is the best I've seen at a campsite and access to Wi-Fi is also a great plus. Firepits on each pitch is also a welcome change to see and I will definitely be back. Can't recommend more.

This is a gorgeous site and I'll definitely be back! The location couldn't be more peaceful and picturesque and the facilities are lovely. The owners were also incredibly welcoming and kind, and they really made the stay for me. See you again soon!

Exceeded expectations

Had 2 out of my three nights here due to deteriorating weather. The stay exceeded my expectations. I was expecting a fairly basic site. This place is in essence basic, however, everything was just a little bit better than expected. Complimentary tea, coffee and milk. A fridge freezer you can use, drying racks and Wi-Fi (the Wi-Fi is quite important because at least on the Vodafone network there is no signal whatsoever). The pitches are of a good size and spacing, and the tent was easy to pitch due to there being no stones in the ground. Each pitch also has a small firepit. The showers were clean with plenty of hot water at a good pressure and the toilets and sinks were also clean and functional. All this was housed in a warm solid building. Probably an odd thing to mention but when most campsites at this price point have little more than a tin shack, it does add to the experience. There was plenty of information and the owners Bob and Alex were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be trying to make a return sometime next summer. If you want a negative I could nitpick and say that the hot water pipes in the showers are bare and exposed, so they get quite hot, but that's mostly common sense and my fault for grabbing one when adjusting the shower head.

Absolutely stunning

Absolutely amazing few days. Owners are so friendly and helpful and really made me feel so welcome. The shower facilities are gorgeous and always clean. Very doggy friendly! They even set up a doggy paddling pool for the hot weather. I'm a solo female camper and the hosts always made sure I was okay. Even after a sunset hike and getting back late instead of waking up my neighbours I could make myself a cup of coffee and some food in their facilities. By far the best campsite. It literally has everything for a peaceful holiday surrounded by beautiful views. Great location. I will definitely be returning ❤️

Fantastic campsite

This is such a fantastic little site for couples looking for a quiet camping trip. It had everything you could need or want. The location is stunning and the owners are lovely. I would highly recommend this campsite.

Absolutely fantastic

Highly recommend, this has to be the best campsite we have ever stayed at. The facilities are excellent and so very clean, pitch was flat and well positioned and the atmosphere was perfect. The hosts Bob and Alex are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Wonderful evenings under the starry skies, sat round the fire pit. We are booking again and look forward to returning.

A lovely place

A beautiful spot, great facilities and helpful, friendly owners. A pity we had to leave early but I intend to come back! It had the feel of a wild camp, with a beautiful meadow but with 21st century luxuries thrown in.

Lovely stay at Cosmos Camping!

Cosmos Camping exceeded our expectations! The location being within the National Park is great since there are relatively few campsites actually within the grounds, and the view of the mountain is stunning. We got a clear night on the Thursday and could see so many stars. Facilities were great - hot showers, clean toilets, with fridge-freezer, microwave and kettle available if needed. Standard of service was fantastic, Alex and Bob were so welcoming and were on call from 9am-8pm each day to help with anything we needed (for us that involved providing firewood and taking coffee orders), always with a smile and friendly conversation. The personal campfires for each pitch were a great touch. All in all a very impressive and comfortable campsite.

Fantastic site, well equipped and peaceful

Really good site, especially for the money. Lovely facilities and a glorious shower. A warm welcome from the owners and great pizza nearby. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful and peaceful

Started off solo, Bob and Alex were very welcoming, the site is very peaceful and beautiful. I loved the wild areas which encourage bees and butterflies. The pitch was a very decent size, with its own fire pit which I had going almost every night. There are some red kites which you can watch fly close by. My partner joined me later and the heavens opened but it was wonderful to watch the rain from the tent. Can't praise Bob and Alex enough for their beautiful campsite, with hot showers and posh loos. I'd recommend this to everyone and I hope to make it an annual visit as I haven't been this relaxed after a trip in years!

Wonderful campsite with great facilities and lovely hosts

Alex and Bob have a wonderful campsite in a very scenic and peaceful location. The facilities are excellent and the option of fresh coffee in the morning is a great add on!

Exceptional

Beautifully maintained, with an abundance of wildflowers, red kites flying overhead and amazing views. Facilities spotlessly clean. Owners Bob and Alex were very welcoming- complimentary drinks on arrival were a bonus, they clearly work very hard to maintain such high standards. Cannot think of anything that could be improved. We look forward to a return visit.

Great owners, beautiful area

Bob and Alex were very friendly and kind and would go out of their way to help us out. The facilities were phenomenal for a campsite, very clean toilets and the showers were so hot and just what we needed after some torrential rain and a long hike. Cannot recommend this site enough, 5/5!

Incredible campsite

We cannot recommend Cosmos Camping enough. A beautiful campsite surrounded by gorgeous landscapes with top-quality, excellently maintained facilities. Bob and Alex were so lovely, helpful and accommodating. Would definitely return!
