About the site

A great location for those in search of a traditional camping getaway on the Cornish Coast. This family friendly campsite provides basic amenities and glorious sea and countryside views to wake up to! The field is flat at the top, making it ideal for tents, caravans, and campervans, with a gentle slope leading down to a meadow of wildflowers. There is plenty of space for field games like football or for dog walking. The non electric grass pitches accommodate up to six guests. Or, opt for the Sunset bell tent. Sleeping up to two, the tent comes furnished with a double air bed and a bedside table, plus a private fire pit just outside. Please just be sure to bring along your own bedding, linen and cooking equipment. For days out, visitors will be spoilt for choice. The seaside towns of Penzance and St Ives are just a ten minute drive away, offering fresh seafood, charming harbours and unique independent shops. Long Rock Beach (10 minutes) is perfect for sunbathing and swimming, with stunning views of St Michael's Mount. For those seeking adventure, options include a trip to the Isles of Scilly, a show at the Minack Theatre or activities such as surfing, rock climbing, fishing, paddleboarding, horse riding, coastal walking and cycling. If you want to cook up a tasty dinner, fire pits and BBQs are both permitted, with logs and kindling available to purchase onsite. Four-legged friends are welcome to join you for your stay, with up to three dogs allowed per pitch and one pup in the bell tent.

Grass pitches are available year round. The bell tent is open from May until 1st September. Pitches from £23/night for 2 people.

This site has a beautiful view over to Penzance. It is in walking distance of Marazion & Penzance. Facilities are what you’d expect at a farm, basic but everything you need. As you’re high up a hill, it was windy so would recommend a windbreak. Owners are lovely and fires are allowed. A really good site.

A note from the site themselves...

We are the fourth generation in my family who have the privilege of farming Garris Farm.

One of my childhood favourite memories is riding around on my uncle's tractor, sitting on a biscuit tin for a seat, the same tractor is used on the farm today. It's a dream come true for me to work at the place that has given me a lifetime of memories.
