Thornbrook Barn is easily accessible from the A65 yet enjoys a tranquil rural location, right on the border of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It's a warm and friendly site with all hardstanding electric pitches, some of which are full serviced. For glamping, there are three luxury ensuite glamping cabins each with a hot tub. The famous Waterfalls Trail at Ingleton is just a 15 minute walk away, along with the charming village of Ingleton.

Just back from three days at Thornbrook Barn..what can we say..it was perfect in every way, especially liked the dog exercise area, our cocker spaniel loved it. I really can’t see how it could be improved tbh, we enjoyed it so much we booked another stay in two weeks time..

We really enjoyed our stay. The campsite is picturesque, peaceful and very well maintained. Our car broke down the night before we were due to leave, the owners of the site were very helpful and accommodating whilst our car was being fixed. We will definitely return. It's a 15 minute walk into Ingleton village, lovely few bars/pubs and places to eat as well as local shop.

What an absolute gem of a site, set in the most beautiful location. 10 min walk from a lovely little pub. The site was faultless, cleanliness was amazing, showers and toilets spotless, never needed to wait. Only one pot wash which wasn't a big issue as only waited once. The pitches are all a really big size with a hedge between you to make it feel private. Also has a dog exercise area. Dog bags provided too. We will most definitely be going back this site is just beautiful. It's a little piece of heaven. I would also say it's more suited to adults as no play area and no ball games allowed. This is just what we were looking for but families may find it a bit too quiet.

Great location for the Dales or as a stopover, and the Country Harvest is worth a visit for some top quality steaks.

Toilets and showers really clean and modern, could just do with one other washing up station. Good location a short walk from the village and close to the farm shop. Was a lovely little place to stay.

Lovely, peaceful little site. Not far to walk into Settle. Would definitely return if in the area again.

Thank you for your review. May we just correct you on our location? We are walking distance to the village of Ingleton which is around one mile away. The lovely market town of Settle is around 12 miles away with a great bus service from close to the site entrance. Sandra.

Lovely site within walking distance to the little village of Ingleton. The facilities were modern and clean, we liked the farm shop across the road for home baked goods, gifts and their lovely cafe. We had one night on our way home but we would definitely book again.

Such a beautiful touring caravan site. We couldn't say a bad thing about Thornbrook Barn. Everyone was so clean and tidy. The pitches were a good size. The surroundings were beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there for 8 nights.
Brilliant stay, will be back!

Excellent location; 15 minutes walk from Ingleton. Value for money; would be 5 stars but like everything else, costs keep going up. Standard of service; the site is great but we never saw any staff! Facilities; everything you need, even piped music in the toilets! Cleanliness; everything spotless - shower block is like new.

We had a lovely stay. Beautifully laid out site, well spaced out pitches and the toilet/shower block was so warm and cosy.

It's a clinical site, from ANPR entry and exit and therefore, you never see the owners, so feels a bit impersonal. Can see how efficient it is for the owners who have invested quite a bit in the site's camera system, covering the whole site. A bit noisy from the nearby A65 throughout the night if you are a light sleeper. Spotlessly clean with good modern washroom facilities. The information room was welcome, as was the discount from the local shop. The local pub being closed two midweek days did not help either, but at least it got me to walk quite a bit further to Ingleton.
Well presented site with good facilities

Perfect site spacious pitches, toilet block spotless, showers the push button type but plenty of hot water. Site easy to find, very peaceful, enclosed dog exercise field. Location perfect to walk down bank into Ingleton. We walked the Ingleton Falls it is a payable walk but well worth it. Quite strenuous, lots of steps but the falls are spectacular.
