A note from the site themselves...
Having started off as a five pitch touring site, we're really proud of how much we've grown! During our closed months we kept making improvements and even designed and built our glamping lodges, and guests tell us what we are doing is great!
We love sharing our location and it's great being able to walk off the site to shops, bars, cafes and the famous Waterfalls Trail. We have a small sheep farm too, so the sheep and lambs in the pastures surrounding the site are ours.
Our daughter Ella keeps a farm blog for guests to enjoy. It's also lovely enjoying the seasons around the farm and site, with the support of the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust in 2007 we planted over 8000 trees on the land around the site, they are now maturing and the wildlife including Roe deer have now made it their habitat too.

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding PitchesMay 2025
We really enjoyed our stay. The campsite is picturesque, peaceful and very well maintained. Our car broke down the night before we were due to leave, the owners of the site were very helpful and accommodating whilst our car was being fixed.
We will definitely return. It's a 15 minute walk into Ingleton village, lovely few bars/pubs and places to eat as well as local shop.

Things to do on site and in the Ingleton area
Walkers will enjoy the challenging Three Peaks Walk, 24.5 miles at once - or a peak each day for three days - it's your choice! Whernside is the highest at 736m, followed by Ingleborough at 723m, and Pen-y-Ghent at 694m.
There are plenty of other strolls and hikes locally too. The nearest valley is Kingsdale, from which you can access Whernside on a long circular walk returning via Swales Moor, or the shorter Kingsdale circuit (10 minutes) which takes in the fantastic limestone scenery with its 'pots' and caves.
A more strenuous walk would be stepping over into Lancashire taking in Gragareth - one of the highest mountains in the area.
The Pennine Bridleway-Yorkshire Dales section can be accessed at Clapham (15 minutes) along a quiet B road. There is also a local trail known as The Crummock Dale Dabs Mountain Bike route from there, while Ingleton is a great base for caving, abseiling, climbing, and other adventure sports.
Around half an hour away, Hawes offers a tour of the Wensleydale Cheese Factory, the cheese that Wallace and Gromit made famous.
Other local attractions include:
Ingleton Waterfalls Trail (1/2 mile)
White Scar Cave (2 miles)
Inglebrough Cave (5 miles)
