About the site

Set among the trees in a peaceful woodland, this small eco-glamping site has just five cosy Landpods, making it a great base for exploring West Cornwall's beaches, coastal paths and countryside. Some pods offer glimpses through the trees towards St Ives Bay and Godrevy Lighthouse, while others are tucked further into the woodland. Inside, the Landpods have insulated roofs, double glazed windows, LED lighting and USB charging points. Each has two 4ft double beds with memory foam mattresses, plus comfy bench seating. The pods sleep up to four adults, or five with a child, with extra child-sized sleeping space available in Gwithian and Towans. Saltings sits on the eastern side of the site with its own log burner and a spot well placed for watching the sunrise. The pods' lift up roofs will show you stunning sunsets or sunrises through the leaves! There's plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors, too. Each pod has a covered outdoor kitchen with a double gas hob, a fire pit with a tripod grill, a picnic table and log benches for cooking up dinner and settling under the stars. Cooking equipment and crockery can be hired, while logs and BBQ briquettes are available to buy. All five pods have private bathroom facilities. For Gwithian, Godvery and Towans, the bathrooms are in the main facilities area. Dogs are welcome in Saltings and Towans, which accept one medium sized dog or two small dogs. The other pods are pet free.

Each Landpod has its own private washroom with a shower, waterless toilet (cleaned, disinfected and emptied for each new booking) and sink, either beside the pod or in the nearby facilities area. Trencrom and Saltings are the only Landpods to have an adjacent bathroom. Each pod also has off-grid LED lighting and USB charging points.

You may either bring your own bedding or duvet and pillows are available for hire.

Each unit has an outdoor covered kitchen area with a gas cooker, kettle and fire pit with a tripod grill, plus picnic tables and log benches. Cooking equipment and firepacks can be pre-ordered, and there's a communal washing up area with hot water. Fridge space and mains water taps are available in the facilities area.

Two e-bikes are available to hire, perfect for exploring the countryside. EV charging points are also available.

For essentials, Costcutter is a 25 minute walk away in Carbis Bay, along with restaurants and pubs, including Romano's and The Beach Club and Restaurant.

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 year old for two nights and had a lovely time! The pod was perfect for us. The bottom double bed bunk was on the floor so we didn't have to worry about her falling out and the log burner kept us warm. We spent most time outdoors on the benches by the fire pit or in the little kitchen area. Everything was well kept and clean. The forest had lovely views out to St Ives and was so peaceful. Only thing we would have preferred would be a later check-out as it was a rush to get packed up by 9.30am. Will definitely return. Thanks!

Wildflower Wood is such a special place. It's a little pocket of peaceful woodland with views over St Ives Bay.

It's about the simple things - waking up and seeing the lighthouse across the bay from your bed, listening to the early birdsong with your first cuppa of the day, spending the day on the beach, cooking dinner over an open fire, toasting marshmallows and laughing around the campfire, watching the stars above you through the treetops.

It's slowing down, listening to nature, playing with sticks, saying hi to the horses, walks in the countryside, special time with loved ones.

We love ensuring our guests enjoy a complete change of space and pace.

Two e-bikes are available to hire, making it easy to explore the surrounding countryside and nearby cycle routes.

The coast is just as inviting, with Carbis Bay's Blue Flag beach a five minute drive away for surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing and other watersports!

A ten minute drive takes you to St Ives, where you can enjoy boat trips, browse Tate St Ives or discover the town's history at St Ives Museum.
