About the site
A peaceful countryside setting just ten minutes from Falmouth makes this an ideal base for exploring one of Cornwall's popular coastal towns, while still escaping the everyday buzz. There are 37 spacious pitches, approximately 11m wide, with a choice of grass and hardstanding options suitable for tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes. Each pitch includes a 16 amp hook up and free WiFi. There is also a dedicated adult only field for those seeking an even more peaceful atmosphere, alongside a separate camping field for rallies. Whether you're planning beach days, scenic walks or simply somewhere to unwind, you'll have the best of both worlds within easy reach! Getting around couldn't be easier, with a bus stop by the site's entrance offering regular services to Falmouth, or enjoy a scenic walk along the South West Coast Path into town in around a 30 to 40 minute stroll. The nearest beaches are a 30 minute walk away, including Swanpool Beach, and the village of Budock Water is a ten minute walk away via a public footpath with a friendly village pub and local shop. Dogs are very welcome too, with up to two per pitch. While they should be kept on a lead around the site, there's a dedicated dog exercise field where they can enjoy some off-lead time, with plenty of nearby walks for them to explore. BBQs are allowed, provided they are raised off the ground and supervised at all times. Open fires are not permitted.
Open from 27 March to 13 October.
