Looking for a base to explore the stunning Peak District? Look no further - Lime Tree is backed by the rolling Derbyshire hills and sits on the outskirts of Buxton. In fact it's the closest park to this historic market town! Complete with a range of camping and touring pitches, with optional 16-Amp electric, and a dedicated area for campervans. The comfy and fully insulated camping pods offer a glamping alternative in this stunning location, featuring double bed, mattress and sofa bed for the kids. They are also equipped with electric heating and USB charging points and a fridge. Take in the views here from your own picnic table outside too. Dogs are welcome on pitches but not in the pods. There is also an exercise field for your pooch and a number of dog friendly pubs in the area.

Site facilities include two blocks featuring showers, toilets and wash basins, plus disabled facilities and a baby and family room. There is a washing up area and a laundry room including coin-operated washing machines/dryers, ironing facilities and a sink for hand washing. Ice pack freezing, electric shaver points and a large dog exercising field are also available.

Free WiFi access is available at the hotspot near reception on the site, or you can pay for access across the site. The kids playground features a slide, swing and more. A games room includes a pool table, kiddies corner, television and DVDs. A red telephone box also houses a book exchange. An onsite shop stocks a range of camping essentials, plus food, toys and more.

Dukes Drive Farm Shop is also next door, with a Tesco and Morrisons within a 15 minute walk. Multiple pubs can be found within a 20 minute walk in Buxton, including The Cheshire Cheese, The Swan and The Vault.
