About the site

Situated on Anglesey, this peaceful site is tucked away amongst country lanes, yet just ten minutes from the A55. When it comes to days out, you can choose land or sea, town or city, with both Bangor and beautiful beaches just a ten minute drive away. There's also stunning countryside all around, so there's plenty to explore close by. The site offers 15 non electric grass pitches for tents, roof tents, trailer tents and campervans, while the 15 electric grass pitches have a 16 amp hook up and are suitable for tents, roof tents, trailer tents, campervans and motorhomes. These pitches allow up to five guests each, with an additional large playing area for kids to run around. Bringing a caravan, campervan or motorhome? There are 55 fully serviced hardstanding pitches to choose from. Each has a 16 amp hook up and a TV hook up, as well as a water tap and grey waste disposal for added convenience. If you want to enjoy some al fresco cooking, BBQs are welcome as long as they are raised off the ground. Dogs can also join you for your stay, as long as they are kept on the lead.

Guests have access to a well-maintained facilities block with separate ladies' and gents' toilets and showers, as well as an accessible bathroom, all with free hot water. There is also a laundry room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and a washing up sink.

A note from the site themselves...

Tai Hirion is family-run by a Welsh-speaking family, with Alun looking after the caravan and camping site and Maldwyn running the dairy farm. We love welcoming visitors to come and watch the milking and pick up some of our lovely fresh milk.

Spring is always a busy time here with lambing, when all hands are on deck. We also make our own cheese, Caws Rhyd y Delyn, and run cheese-making courses for those who'd like to have a go themselves.
