Set between St Ives and Penzance, enjoy a relaxing getaway surrounded by unspoiled countryside and evenings stargazing. Ideal for beachgoers and families, seaside village Carbis Bay is a ten minute drive for a day of sandcastles and paddleboarding! The site offers 60 spacious, non electric grass pitches (7m x 5m), ideal for tents, trailer tents, and roof tents. For something a little different, there is also a hostel onsite, sleeping 20 in private rooms. For days out, National Trust - Godrevy is 20 minutes away for cliff walks and surfing, or take a road trip to Land's End, 40 minutes away from the site. The Minack Theatre is 45 minutes away for open-air theatre productions overlooking the clear waters of Porthcurno Bay. BBQs and campfires are welcome for an evening of al fresco dining or toasting marshmallows. Please note this is a pet-free site.

Lower Penderleath Farm Campsite is open from 01/05 to 09/09 in 2025 and from 25/05 to 31/08 in 2026.

An absolute treasure of a camping site! The grass is perfect for running barefoot on, the views are spectacular and the pitches flat! Even the cat came to say hi! Facilities are basic but clean, no complaints at all! We will return next year!

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

A great campsite! It was the first time I'd camped but I was impressed with everything that was to offer. The showers were lovely and warm and enough space to change. Lots of space to choose where to pitch your tent. Only 10 minute drive from St Ives and there are taxi company's available that aren't expensive either. I couldn't recommend it enough!

Ideal basic facilities without the trimmings. Clean toilets, hot water, showers and washing up facilities. No laundry. A pleasant quiet field well away from main roads with views across the valley. Within easy reach of both St Ives and Penzance with St Michael's Mount 25 minutes away. The friendly farmer gives personal service. Dogs are not allowed which suits some people. There are no animals in the toilets, no mess on the grass and no noise at night. There is an indoor hostel associated with the farm. We would book again if we wanted to return to the area.
