As the reviews say, The Cud Life is a welcoming and friendly small site. Book in for peace, quiet and a great location - walking distance from Harrogate and plenty of charming Yorkshire villages. Explore the gorgeous local area before returning to the peaceful site with lovely views.
About the site
This is as close to camping as it used to be as possible. A traditional site, with family values, great for meeting other like minded campers. Well spaced pitches offer the most amazing views across the farmland, the only sounds being those of wildlife and the farm's own cows. Most guests comment that they cannot believe this base is so close to the centre of Harrogate because they feel like they are in the middle of the countryside. You can walk to Harrogate in about 35 minutes or into the village of Killinghall in 10 minutes where there is a Tesco local open 7am to 11pm. Having the public footpath going directly through the farm, you can't get closer to start a walk in either direction. As The Cud Life is a small site, care is taken with the number of people rather than the number of pitches so that it's not overcrowded at any point.
Open from 1 May to 31 October
There are 15 accommodation options on-site

15 x Grass Pitches
Pitches spaced around the edge of a campsite field, with a central fire pit and optional electric.
