Relaxing and quiet

Well staffed and well maintained site. Brilliant continuous water and hot showers. Would definitely stay again. Loved that we were on the end so had a lovely view of the field.

Excellent service from booking all the way through to departure, staff members were very friendly helpful and knowledgeable. Clean and well kept site with good facilities. Dog walking field was brilliant 👏

Beautiful location

Excellent facilities and in a beautiful location.

Perfect weekend getaway

A sheltered site with large pitches and immaculate facilities (in pleasantly heated block, plenty of hot water). The site was pretty full (adult only) but never had to wait to use toilets/showers. Lovely quiet location, well away from the road. Plenty of walks from the site and spectacular scenery in the local area. The site itself is sheltered in a wooded area, but as soon as you leave the site there are huge views. We walked along the road into Longnor which took about half an hour (not too busy a road, and a pleasant walk with good views). The pub at Longnor served decent ales and pub grub. There's a cafe and corner shop in the village too. Also The Packhorse at Crowdecote has a great beer garden on a sunny afternoon. Easy check-in and very friendly staff on site. Would recommend.

Relaxing short break

Friendly welcome when shown to pitch, amazing views and a brilliant dog field to meet other canine friends. Peaceful adults-only venue, Longnor is a 30 min walk away. The onsite shop was a bit limited on supplies, but it's rumoured that a coffee shop might be in the pipeline!

A lovely site. Follow the owner's guidance as the postcode alone won't take you to the site. Nice pitch, good facilities. I couldn't get sat or TV signal, however the site kindly set me up with a direct sat feed and a receiver. Lovely, clean, warm toilets and showers and even a bathroom for pooches, as well as a lovely enclosed field for dogs to run about safely. Plus, a small shop for the necessities and free use of dvds 📀!! All in all, highly recommended with easy access to Peak District sights. We will be back!!

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Facilities really good and clean. Site very conveniently located for exploring the Peak District.

New years visit

Good site for a winters visit. Well equipped. Would recommend.

Christmas break

Came to Longnor as we have relatives in Buxton. Not a very quiet site as a couple in their caravan opposite had a dog which barked constantly. There were restrictions on having visitors.

Tranquil, well kept site

Booked a two night stay and wished we'd have booked more. The site was very well kept with good sized pitches. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we needed them. We will definitely return in the summer.

Great site

Brilliant site very clean facilities the toilet and bathroom facilities were immaculate. Good central location to visit the local attractions. Went to the Christmas market in Haddon Hall which was great. Nice and local for pubs and eating out. Information in reception was great and staff were very helpful absolutely no complaints

November stop over

Lovely clean and friendly site. Would stay again. The staff offered us a more level pitch as had the space which was very kind. Lovely fresh farm eggs too :)

Excellent

Many excellent aspects about this park but main points are quiet location and a perfect drive in with amazing views. So worth traveling in while it’s still day light. Great for avoiding fireworks if you have a scared pooch. Also excellent shower/toilet block. Lovely and warm too.

Fantastic holiday park.

Would definitely recommend this place. Very clean and well maintained. We stayed in our tent and the size of the pitch was good. Great dog exercise area which was enclosed. Facilities were excellent. (You can even wash your dog in the dog shower after a long muddy walk.)

Longnor Wood

Stayed for one night on the way back down from Scotland… A really nice, tidy and clean site… Friendly and helpful staff, good facilities and only a short walk away across the fields to the village (pub, fish and chip shop etc). Would recommend.

Really nice site, just a bit far from the pubs if walking

The site is excellent if you want some peace and quiet. The walk to town is a fair bit away. No children which can be nice if you're looking for peace and quiet. Possibly the best toilet/ shower blocks I've seen.

It is a decent walk to the village, but we like to think this means whatever you eat/ drink down there already has some calories taken off! Hopefully, we will see you again in the future.

Excellent park in lovely location

Facilities were first class and clean, peaceful location, nice places for dog walks, and within short driving distance of main attractions. Would recommend.

Lovely Park with duper helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to help us connect up our TV. Definitely be back!

Stunning!

Longnor Wood Holiday Park was absolutely brilliant. We really enjoyed staying here. The views were stunning! The facilities were clean! Most importantly, the staff were extremely friendly! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will more than like come again! Huge thanks to the Longnor team!
