About the site
Great for country walks and wildlife spotting, this small site is located in the Dorset countryside, within a 20 minute drive of popular beaches and fossil hunting spots. The charming town of Beaminster is also only five minutes away with independent shops and charming pubs. If you want a luxury getaway in your campervan, there is a 10 amp electric pitch located in its own private garden. It includes WiFi, your own wood-fired hot tub, a stack of wood and a fire starter kit ready on arrival. The two shepherd's huts are also ideal for couples. Each sleeps up to two with a king size bed, bedding, linen, dressing gowns, towels and a panoramic stargazing window for when you're lying in bed. To keep you comfy and entertained all year round, there is a wood burner, radio, WiFi, books and games, along with comfy indoor seating. An ensuite bathroom also comes fully equipped with toiletries. For cooking, there is a small kitchenette that includes a hob, kettle, toaster, sink and fridge. Tea, coffee, oil, sugar, washing up liquid and tea towels will also be stocked in the huts. Both feature private outdoor areas with tables and chairs, sun loungers and wood-fired hot tubs. Novelist is the most spacious of the two, set across two huts adjoined by a small glass connection. It has a mirror TV, a sofa and a roll top copper bath, plus a large deck with an outdoor rainfall shower and fire pit. The Astronomer has a BBQ instead. Everyone will have access to the shared BBQ hut for cooking up dinner. A selection of hampers are available too, with breakfast, BBQ and drink options. Do note, this site is dog free.
