Lovely, quiet campsite, great first impression on arrival and it didn't disappoint! There was a note in the shop window when we arrived advising us of our allocated pitch. The grounds were very neat & tidy.
Little shop & café there, we had a coffee in the morning & sat outside as we had our 2 dogs with us, plenty of tables and chairs there. There were BBQ grills there, not sure if they were for hire or to borrow. Sadly, the weather wasn't good during our one night stay so didn't enquire about these.
Hard standing pitches with the offer of electric hook-up at £6.per night. Dogs welcome at £3 each per night, the toilet/shower facilities were lovey and clean, also a laundry room. Chemical waste disposal in a neatly fenced off area & recycle bins.
The site was about 5 miles from Monmouth town centre. We had a lovely stay thank you, would highly recommend & will stay there again when back in the area!
