About the site

This is a small and friendly site, located in the rural beauty of a non commercial farm, yet with very easy access to the M40. Situated between London and Oxford, it offers a fabulous setting for evenings relaxing by the fire pit and chatting over the day's activities. The site is spacious and offers plenty of space for children to play away from other campers. Take advantage of the freedom to camp wherever you please without allocated pitches and get comfy. There are a range of options for grass and hardstanding pitches and, for those who prefer more comfort, a set of chic bell tents or shepherd's hut. It's glam all the way inside your bell tent, with the romantic mood set by candle-lit chandeliers and a cosy glow provided by your log burning stove. You can also relax outside and enjoy your Kadai fire pit and BBQ. You'll even have a Champagne bucket to help keep you perfectly chilled! All are included in the shepherd's hut here too. The village pub next door has a fantastic beer garden and serves many local ales and beers as well as food and snacks!

The site is open year round for camping and touring on grass pitches and glamping in the shepherd's huts. Hardstanding pitches are available from March until September and bell tents 13th March until 10th November. Pitches from £16/night for 2 people.

We rocked up at 19:30 not a soul in sight, the door needed to be unlocked by a code we weren't given. We had to go and find other campers, to give us a the code, as there was no employees around. We understand we are now in October, but no levels of service or help seems poor. Location was nice.

Clean but basic site, mainly sloping with pitches varying from mild slopes to definitely hilly. Lots of water taps spaced conveniently. Showers clean and grass short and well kept. We felt secure as entry to the site is by electric gates with individual access codes. The only niggle was that we paid for electric hook up and struggled to find a spot as tents not using hook-up were taking up the EHU spaces,. Good job we had a long cable but this led to us feeling a little crammed in when the rest of the field was almost empty. There are reminders for non EHU users to pitch else where but obviously not supported by the owner. However, we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Easy going campsite and great for visiting local attractions Harry Potter and Legoland. Relaxed rules for tents with position and space, and raised camp fires allowed which is becoming more rare at campsites of late. Tent pitch is on a hill but was okay for a few nights. Facilities were okay for our stay but were average cleanliness and were a bit dated. Would visit again.

What time is check-in and check out at Home Farm Glamping, Camping and Caravan Site?

For camping and touring, check-in is available from noon until 9:30pm and checkout is due before 11:30am. For glamping, check-in is from 2:30pm until 9:30pm and check out is due by 10:30am on your last day.

Is Home Farm Glamping, Camping and Caravan Site dog-friendly?

Yes, each of the pitches and the glamping units are dog friendly and up to two dogs are welcome. Breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted. Dogs must also be kept on the lead at all times and not left unattended.

Does Home Farm Glamping, Camping and Caravan Site allow BBQs and campfires?

BBQS, campfires in fire pits and camping stoves are all welcome, as long as they are raised off the ground. Disposable BBQs can also be used but please use the slabs provided and return them afterwards.

Does Home Farm Glamping, Camping and Caravan Site allow group bookings?

This site is aimed at families and couples so it does not allow bookings of more than two units, unless agreed prior.

If staying on the grass pitches, both gazebos and pup tents are allowed, but awnings are not.

Can I park near my pitch at Home Farm Glamping, Camping and Caravan Site? Or is there parking adjacent to the pitch?

Yes, you are welcome to park your car adjacent to your pitch, you can also add an additional car to your booking if required.

Things to do on site and in the High Wycombe area

There is an abundance of things to do locally, starting with the peaceful beauty of local woodland walks or bringing the kids to play on the swings in the local park.

If you fancy a tipple, walk to the end of the drive and you'll find The Crown Pub and Beer Garden or take a tour of the Daws Hill Vineyard just down the road. A gorgeous setting with homegrown produce, each individual vine is hand pruned and grapes are hand picked, bottles are even labelled by hand!

From Marlow's Higginson Park, you can feed the ducks on the river, before dining out in one of many tasty eateries.

Visit London or Oxford for the day and see some of the UK's biggest attractions. Easy motorway access to a Park and Ride and the Tube make this really simple.
