About the site

Set in the beautiful countryside, this family-friendly site is located just five minutes from St. Day village with easy access to Cornwall's north and south coast. Just 10-15 minutes to Falmouth and sandy beaches such as Portreath. Spacious grass pitches are provided around the touring fields. Suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Pitches on the touring caravan site are divided by netting and climbing plants or conifer hedging. Pitches are generously sized (approx 10m x 10m), with metered 16-Amp electric hook-up and car parking alongside. There are also modern static caravans, wooden lodges and brick-built chalets available. The highest standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the park. Dogs are welcome but must be exercised off-site.

Camping and touring is available from March to September. Static caravans and wooden lodges are available to hire all year round.

Facilities at St Day include a centrally positioned modern shower block with ample toilets and wash hand basins with free hot water. Showers are also free, as is the use of a chest freezer and microwave.Water points and washing up facilities are all conveniently situated near the shower block. A laundry providing washing machine, dryer, tumble dryer and ironing facilities is also available.

In the village of St. Day, only two minutes' walk from the park, there are two general stores, a chip shop, a butchers, two pubs and a regular bus service to Redruth and Truro. Wi-Fi is available throughout the site (charges apply).

Set in a peaceful area of the park, these come with outdoor decking and a hot tub. The two bedrooms sleep four people, and the kitchen and living room have been refurbished to a high spec.

We had a great stay. It was so lovely and peaceful. The children enjoyed the park and they were able to ride their bikes around the campsite which they love to do. We were greeted by a lovely man and his dog Daisy. He was a great help and showed us to our pitch. He told us some great information about places to visit, where the local shop was and a big play park. We were close to the toilet block and showers which was handy with the children. The music was a lovely touch, however we could hear this during the night. We will definitely be staying here again when we next visit Cornwall.

This is a fantastic campsite with large tent pitches separated by either a fence or a large hedge. The location is ideally located just off the main road with all areas of Cornwall easily accessed from the campsite. The modern shower block was the best we've experienced on any campsite that we've stayed at. The site is also very reasonably priced compared to other campsites in Cornwall and unlimited electric is included in the price.

What are the check-in/out times at St Day Tourist Park?

Check-in for pitches is between 11am and 6pm, for static caravans and lodges its 2pm. The site requests that guests depart before 10am for touring pitches, caravans and lodges.

Are dogs allowed at St Day Tourist Park?

Absolutely! Dogs are welcome, but must be non aggressive, kept on a short lead at all times, and remain supervised for the duration of their stay. They must be exercised off the park. The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

Can I light a fire or have a BBQ at St Day Tourist Park?

Open fires are not permitted. BBQs must be raised off the ground.

All of Cornwall's many attractions are easily reached from this central location, with the north coast beaches of Portreath and Porthtowan being just 10 minutes drive, and Falmouth on the south coast around 15 minutes' drive. Truro is just a 10 minute car journey away.

Within easy reach of St Day you will find a leisure centre, fishing, golf, horse riding, flea market, surfing, breathtaking walks and lovely views. The surrounding area is a mine of history, having been the heart of the mining industry with now only the disused mines and engine houses to remind visitors of its existence.

Walking and cycling trails are very popular around St Day and the nearby villages and with guides available on site.
