About the site

Escape the busy sites and retreat to this peaceful wilderness set on a Cornish farm near Saltash. The farm covers 200 acres and is full of hidden glades, charming woodland walks and places to wander by the river. The farm's large size ensures you'll have plenty of privacy and space when you camp here, and the map given to you on arrival shows you the variety of places to camp onsite. Choose between the main camping area for tents and tourers, find a spot within the woodlands or pitch up by the lakeside and take in the scenery by the River Lynher. BBQs are allowed onsite and recycled firewood is sold here allowing you to get the campfire sizzling! Dogs welcome.

Bush Farm Wild Camping is open from 23/05 to 27/09 in 2025 and from 22/05 to 26/09 in 2026. Pitches from £24/night for 2 people.

Although you could camp anywhere, a lot of the pitches are sloped and not suitable. It is quite a big area, but little opportunity to get away from everyone on a bank holiday as much of the site is open fields. The less open areas were very crowded. Limited facilities meant they were quite busy as there were some big groups. Secluded areas are a long way from facilities, not ideal for children. No lights at the facilities. Showers were warm.

The site was pleasant, with plenty of space. We got to choose where we wanted to pitch. Just be aware, this is a wild camping experience, so prepare for a cold water shower!
