About the site

Enjoy glorious views over Carlyon Bay at this peaceful, family run campsite. Located on a working farm just outside of St Austell, the site provides an ideal base for days at the beach, trips to the Eden Project or exploring nearby attractions like The Lost Gardens of Heligan. There are a total of five non electric grass pitches spread across the site. Tents and small campervans are welcome, with up to five guests welcome per pitch. If glamping is more your style, opt for one of the four bell tents or two barrel pods. Each comes fully furnished with bedding included too. You will also have your own outdoor space with seating. BBQs are provided for a spot of al fresco cooking. The wooden barrel pods can accommodate up to four guests (two adults and two children) with a double bed and two pull out single beds. Inside, there is also a pull out table and electric (low voltage). Each of the bell tents can sleep up to four (two adults and two children) and is furnished with a double bed, mattress, and optional Z-beds for children. You will also have bedside tables, a storage chest and a wood burner to keep you cosy. Towels are not provided. Dogs are very welcome and there is plenty of space for them to run around. BBQs are allowed, provided they are raised off the ground.

The site is open in April, pitches are available until the end of September and glamping until the end of August. Pitches from £20/night for 2 people.

Great location. Not easy to drive up on to the site if you have a low car. Only 2 toilets and showers, however they are still developing the sire. Peaceful area with a beautiful view.
