About the site
Set within the Lake District, this is an ideal base to explore its stunning scenery, with easy access to Ullswater and Keswick. Spend your days exploring famous landmarks, seeing spectacular sights, climbing mountains or simply unwinding onsite! For caravans, campervans and motorhomes, the site provides 27 hardstanding pitches, each allowing up to five guests. All include 10 amp electric and have grass areas, with plenty of space to set up your awning or table and chairs for outdoor dining. Looking for something a little more luxurious? Opt for a stay in one of the camping pods, ideal for couples and families. Each one is equipped with seating and a table, which also folds down to make a double bed. There are also two single beds - one of which is able to be stored out of your way. To keep you warm, each pod is fully insulated and comes with a heater, lighting, microwave, kettle and USB charging points. Outside, you will also have a private decking area, along with a picnic bench to enjoy the sunshine. Please note, bedding is not provided. Or, opt for the Blencathra View pod, fitted with a king-sized bed, ensuite with a power shower, fully equipped kitchenette, WiFi, heating and a sofa. You will just need to bring your own towels. Outside this glamping pod is a private decking area, space for parking and a picnic bench so you can dine outside when the sun is shining. Tent campers are also catered for with a total of eight grass pitches, six with electric. Static caravan hire is also available. Guests can also cook up a BBQ, as long as they are raised off the ground. The local farm shop is the perfect place to pick up some ingredients. Please note, open fires are not permitted. Four-legged friends can also come along, with up to two allowed on each of the pitches. The pods are pet free.
