We love the site as it is small, manageable and has very few restrictions. We get many returning customers who want to relax by a campfire at night, be together and children love playing on the field. We want everyone to enjoy their stay and see the local wildlife at its best.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches (Cowfield)Jun 2025
We chose this smaller campsite for our first time camping as a family and it was great. Each pitch was spacious and the location was lovely. The lady who runs the site was really nice and helpful - we will book to come again.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2025
This was a return stay, having found it perfect for my needs previously.
If you are looking for a quiet site in a beautiful rural location, within easy reach of many of the areas attractions, it is great. It is basic, as made clear by the owners in their brief - just a toilet, cold water supply & electrics - all I need.
It seems a shame to only give 4 stars for facilities, as those the site has a perfectly okay, but don't turn up expecting a shower block, washing-up area, etc, none of which are promised. I will definitely be back if I am travelling to the area again.
Site's response
Thank you Jean for your lovely review and appreciate it. We want people to enjoy their stay and enjoy the site for what it is.
