About the site
Abbey Farm is a 270 acre farm, located a short distance from the quiet market town of Thame on the border of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Kites Nest Shepherd's Hut is discreetly nestled into the sloping rural landscape. Totally self contained, heated and insulated it provides a wonderful glamping experience for two. Cooking is simple, with a fully functional and well equipped kitchen. Outside is a private wood fired hot tub. Weather permitting, you have the choice of eating in or outside. A lawned area has a table and chairs and is perfect for outside eating and relaxing. The chiminea and supply of logs takes the edge off any fresh nights, offering an opportunity to sit under the stars and gaze! The Roost shepherd's hut is identical to Kites Nest, the only difference being that the hob is gas instead of electric and the bed is fixed. The huts are extremely private and you can't see them at all from each other. Just minutes from junctions 7 and 8 of the M40, it is extremely well suited to anyone wishing to get away for that idyllic, tranquil break - be it for a short stay or longer. Private parking near to the accommodation.
Abbey Farm is open all year round in 2025 and 2026. Stay from £140/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).
