About the site
A spacious and family-friendly site in a great countryside location near Sedlescombe in Sussex. Within easy reach of the beach at Hastings (15 minute drive) and historic Battle (10 minute drive). Spread across two big fields, the site is home to spacious non electric grass pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Modern facilities, including hot showers, are nearby. For those looking for added comfort, hire a bell tent or Buckhurst, the tourer, which is pitched up ready on site. The Bluebell Camping Pods are beautifully decorated and feature a double bed with bedding and a small double futon, sleeping up to four. You will need to bring bedding for the futon. The pods come equipped with a kettle, cups, your own outdoor picnic bench and a fire pit to enjoy some al fresco dining. Please note that guests will need to bring their own cooking equipment and will have access to shared facilities. Campfires and well-behaved dogs are welcome.

What time is check-in and check out at Buckhurst Campsite?
Check-in is available from noon until 6pm for grass pitches, and from 2pm until 6pm for glamping. For all guests, departure is due before 10am on your last day.
Is Buckhurst Campsite dog-friendly?
Yes! Dogs are welcome here at Buckhurst Campsite and must be kept on a lead at all times. Breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa are not permitted. Dogs are not allowed in the accommodation units.
Does Buckhurst Campsite allow BBQs and campfires?
Fire pits and BBQs are allowed but must be raised off the ground.
