Set in the High Weald AONB, Rother Valley Caravan Park is a rural, family friendly campsite, within ten minutes of Rye and Bodiam. Set along the Kent and East Sussex Railway, you can watch the steam trains chugging past. There are non electric and electric grass pitches for tents and tourers, plus cosy furnished bell tents and camping pods for glampers. There is a small play park and a field for games, with pubs and cafes within a 15 minute walk!

About the site
Located on the East Sussex and Kent border, this traditional family friendly campsite enjoys great views of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can even unwind on your pitch and watch the vintage steam trains chug along the Kent and East Sussex Railway. Tents, trailer tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes are welcome on the main field grass pitches. Each pitch measures 8m x 10m and allows up to ten guests, with the option of a 16 amp electric hook up. Tucked away in a woodland alcove, you can also find additional 7m x 7m non electric grass pitches. These are suitable for tents, trailer tents and campervans only. For camping in all weather, there are a further four gravel hardstanding pitches for tourers. If you want to leave the tent pegs at home, opt for one of the cosy camping pods. Each pod includes a dining area, heating, electric sockets, a small fridge, crockery and utensils. Simply choose from the two person pods with a pull out double bed, or the four person pods with an additional two single beds. Please be sure to bring along your own bedding, as this is not supplied. You could also opt for one of the cosy bell tents, sleeping four with a double bed and two single camp beds. You will be provided with handy essentials like camp lights, a water carrier and cool box, plus a gas hob stove, kettle, cooking utensils and crockery. Outside is a picnic table and a BBQ for meals al fresco. Dogs are welcome to join you on the camping pitches and in the bell tents. Please note, the camping pods are pet free. For evenings onsite, you are welcome to hire a fire pit, with logs available to purchase too. BBQs are also allowed, just please ensure they are raised off the ground.
