Located just five minutes inland from Criccieth and the coast, Cae Ddel Country Camping provides a peaceful, traditional off-grid camping getaway. You can borrow a fire pit or chiminea for evening's toasting marshmallows, with a range of eateries just five minutes away. Snowdonia National Park (Eryri) is also within a ten minute drive!

A great spot for those looking for a traditional camping getaway. Marine Beach is within a five minute drive, along with Castell Cricieth and the charming shops, pubs and restaurants of Cricieth. Snowdonia National Park is also only a ten minute drive away where you can explore scenic walking, cycling and driving routes. This small campsite is home to only nine non electric pitches, perfect for those looking to escape the crowds. The grass pitches are located in the main field measuring 3m x 5m each, whilst the almost wild woodland pitches are 3m x 3m, all allowing up to six guests each. For those travelling in their campervan, there is a gravel 3m x 7m pitch which is surrounded by a grassed area for setting up your table and chairs. There is also a bell tent for those who do not wish to hammer in the tent pegs, equipped with a double bed with a mattress, sheet, rugs and fairy lights. The bell tent is set in a private area of the site with a gas BBQ outside and log seating. Or, opt for the glamping cabin set in a private woodland area, sleeping up to two on a double bed with a sofa, dining table and chairs. Outside is an undercover outdoor cooking area with a gas BBQ and fire pit. You will also have a private composting toilet. There is solar-powered lighting and USB charging available. The site has a small selection of fire pits and chimeneas to borrow, great for those wanting to spend evenings unwinding onsite. You can also bring along your own BBQ if you wish. This site is un-lit at night making it ideal for stargazing. Canine companions can join you for your stay, with up to two pups permitted per pitch. There is even an enclosed dog field for them to run around! This site is part of the Greener Camping Club, and at least one person in the party must be a member, but this can be purchased when you book. Membership is valid for the year.

Brilliant value for money, great facilities, tranquillity at its finest! Brilliant facilities, always well stocked and kept clean. Showers were lovely and warm, and weren't on a paid timer like other campsites we've stayed at. Chimneys and BBQ available for use while staying. Very dog friendly, lovely secure dog field and lots of bins for dog waste. Pitches are all pre-set so no fighting for the best place. The only slight downside for us is there are no easy walking routes from site but we knew this before booking, good location for both beaches and mountains but all require a drive. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return!

Wonderful location, the toilets were immaculate and the showers were warm! The location was small with only a few tents which meant it stayed quiet. Only improvements i can ask for is for better sign postage to the camp site and around it There is no signal on the site but this improved our stay as we had to speak to eachother. We will defiantly book again.

We had an amazing stay, the campsite was small and quiet, with plenty of space and privacy at our pitch. The toilets and showers were very clean, and the firepit and picnic benches were great. We stayed with our 3 year old, and all of us were really comfortable during our stay. A nice pub 5 minute drive away and loads of brilliant walks and a beach 20-40 minutes away.
