Glamping options include a double-decker London bus, a converted Wessex helicopter, a gypsy caravan, an 'Eco Perch' log cabin and two incredible treehouses.
About the site
Situated within the South Downs National Park, Blackberry Wood is just 10 miles north of Brighton near the pretty village of Ditchling with its great country pubs and amazing Art and Crafts museum. The area is perfect for walking, cycling and hiking and the South Downs Way is within easy reach. London is only an hour away by train. For those who prefer more comfort, various glamping options including a converted London double-decker bus and a Wessex helicopter, plus a bright red glamping fire engine. Needless to say, these are immensely popular with families. Couples might prefer a romantic break in the gypsy caravan, tucked away in a corner of the site with its own outdoor kitchen. For more luxury, perhaps the most comfortable option is the Curvy Cabin - a fully insulated log cabin complete with shower room, toilet and kitchen. Or if you're feeling slightly more adventurous, the two incredible treehouses - Higgledy and Piggledy - should tick your boxes. Completely hand crafted and set up among the trees, they both come with shower room, toilet and kitchen, as well as beautiful terraces for al fresco dining.

The Curvy Cabin is completely self-contained with a modern kitchen (4-ring gas cooker, a toaster, a fridge, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans) and a cool bathroom with a shower. Outside the Cabin is your private seating area with a firepit/bbq. Sleeps 4.

Holiday Bus

All aboard this 1964 Routemaster London double-decker Bus. Ding Ding! Downstairs has a kitchen/dining area with a two-ring gas cooker, grill, toaster and fridge, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. Upstairs is a cosy sleeping/lounge area. Sleeps 4.

The Holicopter!

Up, Up and Away! Stay in this converted (and heated) 1965 Wessex Search and Rescue helicopter! The outside kitchen area comes with a fridge, a two-ring gas cooker, a toaster, pots, pans and crockery. Sleeps 4.

Gypsy Caravan

Be a gypsy for a night in a 1930's gypsy wagon. Beautifully decorated, the romantic hideaway sleeps 2 adults in a snug double bed. Outside is a fire pit with BBQ grill, an outside kitchen, fridge, toaster, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.

Higgledy Tree House

Like something out of a fairy tale, the Higgledy treehouse is fully self-contained with a shower room and kitchen. It is heated and insulated to the highest standard, and also comes with a wood burning stove for extra cosiness. Sleeps 4.

Piggledy Tree House

The Piggledy treehouse also sleeps 4 in two double beds. It also has a bathroom with shower, as well as a kitchen with hob, fridge, toaster and microwave. Like Higgledy, it's also heated and has a woodburner for cosiness. The terrace has a chiminea/BBQ.

Angus the Fire Engine

Live the dream in a glamping fire engine with heating, ensuite facilities and room to sleep four in two bunkbeds or five with an extra day bed. Outside is the perfect firefighter extra - a fire pit and BBQ!

Snugglebug
Snugglebug is a wooden cabin that sleeps four with a double bed and a convertible dining area. There is a well equipped kitchen with a microwave, a toaster, a fridge and a kettle. Outside, there is a fire pit with BBQ grill and a seating area.

Airstream

Silver Bullet Airstream that is fully self contained with a double bed and a double sofa bed. There is a kitchen, dining area and shower room with private outdoor seating.

Blackberry Lodge
