If you are searching for an almost-wild rural escape within easy reach of the Dorset coast, look no further. This charming site is nestled on a working farm where you can enjoy cider from award-winning cider makers, meet the friendly animals and explore the 190 acres of farmland. The site is also situated in the Dorset Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty so benefits from beautiful starry night skies and visiting wildlife. The wildlife is exceptionally varied with herds of deer, owls, birds of prey, otters and many rare birds. The site offers just nine pitches to ensure everyone can have some much needed peace and quiet. Each of the non electric grass pitches welcomes both tents and campervans, measuring a spacious 10m x 10m with up to six guests allowed per pitch. Guests can also enjoy access to the communal kitchen and barn, perfect for meeting other campers. A wood burner is on hand to keep you nice and cosy, with boardgames, table tennis and darts on hand to keep you entertained. BBQs are permitted, perfect for an evening in the open. Please note, these are at the owner's discretion and must be raised off the ground. Four-legged friends are welcome to join you for your stay, with up to one allowed per pitch. The site is surrounded by glorious walking routes so there is plenty of spots for them to stretch their legs.

Being just 15 minutes from the coast, a day out at the seaside is a must. The sandy shore of West Bay Beach Dorset is just 15 minutes away, perfect for a dip. From here you can also enjoy views of the harbour and watching the boats come in.
If you are looking for a spot for a picturesque walk, Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens are a 25 minute drive away. Here you will find beautifully manicured and designed gardens with magnolia displays, a Robert James sculpture trail and a subtropical garden, with dogs welcome too.
History buffs can also take a trip to the previous home of Sir Walter Raleigh, Sherborne Castle and Gardens. The 16th century castle now offers stately rooms for you to tour, along with 42 acres of gardens and parkland.
